We loved our visit to loket castle. We got there around 10:30am and the castle had only few other people visiting. It was a very nice visit with many rooms and good info. The history of the castle is very interesting too. A nice break from overcrowded places! If you are coming from karlovy vary catch the bus at the terminal bus station on platform 4 direction Sokolov stop loket. First bus is at 10am and price is 37czk each way payable to the driver. The stop is across a petrol station and very close to the bridge. For the return trip catch the bus the opposite site of drop of. There is a sign with bus timetable.

Loved Loket for it's original charm and character. The setting is very pretty and a boat ride on the river very romantic.
