This is a somewhat crowded beach near Sri Mahabaleshwar temple. Beach is neat and clean and u can hike up a small trek up to get scintillating views of the Arabian sea

Gokarna beach at the city just backside of Mahabaleshwar Temple. It is always crowded with locals and Pilgrims. Beach is clean and quite big. Lot of shacks option to enjoy sunset and beer

Average beach with spread area. Good for taking bath but tough to spend hours as no shed here. during sunshine.

This beach is very calm and peaceful just nearby Mahabaleshwar Temple. One can do water sports and chill out at sea view resorts.

If you plan to visit Gokarna, then few things on the cart - temples, less crowded beaches and sea food. :) :)

Gokarna beach is one of the easily accessible beach 2 minutes drive from the main market, near to the famous temples. Unlike the other 2 beaches (Om and Kudle), Gokarna beach is easily accessible by road thus crowded in comparison to the other 2. Expect water sports and other activities for tourists. Food options are limited though. Evenings are pleasant than mornings.

Best options is to walk down the street and explore the local shops on both the sides of the road. Best option for spice purchases in this area. Options of jute clothes in most of the shops. One could fancy hand made diaries (paper made of rice).

If one fancies fish, there is a market just 10 mins walk from the beach. Fish is relatively cheap than that of the urban fish markets.
