I spent one night in April in one of the one bedroom villas. I really think that Peppers does themselves a disservice by not providing more photographs of the villas on their website, because the rooms are really nice. The villa was two stories tall with a large kitchen and living area on the first floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. Both floors had decks with views of the lake. The decor was tasteful and the villa was very clean. The walls were a bit scuffed from guests bumping them with bags, but that is a minor detail. The kitchen included a dishwasher and a range of dishes and utensils. The living area had a large television which included a 5.1 surround sound system which was a nice touch, but all of the speakers were placed in a row. The bedroom also had a television. But, you probably wont use either since the Tekapo area is so beautiful that you will probably want to spend most of your time outside.
I found the service at Peppers to be excellent. Checking in and out were both very easy.
I definitely enjoyed my stay at Peppers Bluewater Resort. It is more expensive than other accommodation in the area, but the views, the great villas and the service are what you are paying for.
