Unfortunately only stayed 1 night. Lucky enough to have a lake view powered site. Beautiful location, nice hot pools close by at the lake was a little cola for me. Good facilities a little dated but clean tidy and perfectly functionable. Really good high speed wifi available at a reasonable $ 5 per day.

We had an en suite cabin and it was good - no 3, just by the BBQ area and with a lovely view - if you stay in this park make sure you catch the sunset view from this area - it is magic. Our cabin had an adequate bathroom and breakfast making facilities - fridge, kettle, crockery TV, tables and chairs, double bed plus a bunk set. All quite spacious for three of us. Price wise it wasn't great value, but we were there in peak season.

The campground itself is a bit scruffy and dusty.

Campsite set in an amazing setting, overlooking Lake Tekapo, one of the most picturesque areas on South Island. Had a powered site with campervan. Very large and busy site, possibly worse as it was Friday evening. Washrooms rather rundown and not particularly clean, though this was made worse as it was so busy. Not particularly cheap but still charged extra for hot and timed showers. Not sufficient facilities for the number of people there. No allocated spaces and rather cramped. Outside sitting areas but very busy. Surprised at such a large site being cash only payment facility. Would avoid this one if travelling to the area again.

We had a self-contained cabin for the night and were very pleased with the accommodation. The main living area of the cabin was a good size and gave us plenty of room for our bags (we were travelling by bicycle). The bathroom was small and strangely shaped, but surprisingly functional and more than adequate for our one night stay. It is a bit of a walk to the main town, but there is a lovely trail with views of the lake the whole way. Waking up with a view of the lake was spectacular.

This holiday park is situated on a great location. The tent sites are smallish but have great views. The toilets and showers are fine. The kitchen is way too small, very old and damp. Considering the amount of campers, it is totally insuffcient. It seems that this holiday park only investst in cabins and motel rooms.
It is often windy at Lake Tekapo, so campers need a place to sit out of the wind - in the kitchen??? In the tv room - well, this has old couches that seem to have bugs in them, the room is damp and smelly and again, too few tables to sit at.
