Great service, simple but good food. Liked the choice on the menu. Ideal if you want an easy supper with lots of code.

It gets crowded on the weekend at prime time 10pm, so consider a reservation, but you may have to assert yourself to get a better table. Pasta was good, service was good, and at a reasonable price. We had the ravioli with meat sauce, and caprese salad. split both and had enough room for yummy gelato at Grido's down the street in the square...

Pasta, pasta and more pasta. Very good, very satisfying, very good staff . . . and the wine wasn't bad either. Certainly way better than Piacere.

La Piadina is a smallish, indoor/outdoor restaurant located just off of the square in Chacras de Coria. The focus here is clearly on pastas with some typical Argentinian meat dishes for the meat lovers in the group.

We showed up right on time on a Saturday evening for our 9PM reservation. We were quickly greeted and seated by a passing server who quickly handed us off to the only server in the restaurant that spoke passable English. Our drink orders were taken and quickly filled and were were off to the races for the evening.

I was craving anything vegetable after five days in Argentina (you’ll understand what I mean if you ever go to Argentina) so I started my evening with the Insalata Pomomdoro (tomatoes). This absolutely HUGE bowl full of freshly cut and diced tomatoes was filling and after days of missing vegetables definitely recommended.

My entree for the evening was the Gnochi in Cream Sauce. The serving was a good size with the gnochi itself having a fairly firm texture. The cream sauce was good but fairly straightforward. This dish is recommended for a filling, “light” meal compared to the mounds of meat and spices you normally get when dining out in Argentina. This entree is recommended.

We wrapped up our evening by sharing the Panqueque Mazanta (Appel) Carmello. This dessert had a nice, crispy caramel top similar to a creme brulee. Inside was a fresh, crisp apple surrounded by a solid, flaky pastry. It was just the right size to split between two people after a filling meal. This dessert is recommended.

Service was good throughout the evening from the moment we arrived until the time the taxi arrived that they called for us. There is at least one person there that speaks broken English for those that need an English waiter to navigate the evening.

La Piadina has a short, serviceable wine list. Pricing is good, roughly 40% over winery release price as is the custom in Argentina.

La Piadina is open daily for dinner starting at 9PM until close. Reservations are accepted but generally not required except during peak periods. Attire is casual; jeans and a button down shirt get the job done. Visa and Mastercard accepted. Parking is free on the street if you can find any and you’re crazy enough to drive.

La Piadina: Recommended.

Eating in the garden could be pleasant, but I have not much patience for Italian restaurant which overcook pasta that much.
