Maybe we came on an off night, but this was the worst restaurant during our week in Puerto Rico, and it is the worst steakhouse I've ever been to. For starters, the service was very lacking. They brought out a plate of liver pate mouse with crisp bread complements of the chef. Not appetizing at all. Then they brought out these two huge popovers which was their version of bread with a huge salt shaker. The popovers were nothing more than gigantic cream puff pastries, overdone on the outside and raw on the inside. I would much rather have normal bread. However, my husband loved them and the other reviewers seem to love them so I guess I must be missing something. Then came the awful oysters. We payed 26 dollars for 6 of the worst oysters I have ever had. They were advertised as East Coast oysters. When they came they were all different shapes, sizes and colors and the waiter explained they were a combination of east and west coast oysters. Regardless, the oysters had a very fishy taste and little pieces of the shell were breaking off into my mouth. For main course I had the large filet mignon medium rare with bernaise sauce and steak sauce. The filet was very fatty and crispy on the outside. The bernaise sauce was just ok and they forgot to bring the steak sauce. I had the creamed spinach side which was ok but very small portion. Skipped desert as everything up to this point was disappointing, including the wine. We did not go back to this restaurant.
