This place is a much try. The restaurant itself is not fancy but it is very pleasant and fun. There was live music and our waitress Katie was very friendly and she knew the menu inside out. All of her recommendations were delicious. I had the snapper fillet with lemon caper sauce and tuber mash. It was amazing. The coconut sangria was to die for... And worth every penny. The desserts were unbelievable.... You must try the Tres Leches cake and I can't remember the name of the other dessert but it had guava, cream cheese, Pastry, and almonds.... You won't be disappointed...

Staying at the Hampton Inn across the street for business. Didn't want to drive somewhere or go into OSJ and deal with parking. Strolled across the street and walked in. Was greeted right away and seated. Server was quick to arrive with water and to take drink order.

Went with the Puerto Rican delights, a mix of empenadas, fritters, and blood sausage (morcilla). Chased down with an ice cold beer. Food was excellent and portions were enough for two.

Strongley recommend for anyone staying in the Isla Verde/Carolina.

So we asked a guy in the souvenir shop for a good authentic Puerto Rican restaurant and this was his suggestion. There are no words that can express how good this food was. Ask for Anthony he was our server and food recommendations where on point. Must try Sangria I was feeling good after half. Almost stayed another day just so I could go back and eat again!

When we walked in I was thinking I don't know about this place..bare cement floors, nothing fancy to say the least. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Cocunut sangria was delicious. Every meal in the party was raved about. I had chucked stuffed with plantains and wrapped n bacon. Had some kind of creamy sauce.....excellent. Even the rice, which had chunks of chicken and pork was something to rave about. Dinner and drinks were 65 a couple. Highly recommend.

We were staying at the Courtyard of Marriott and ask the gift shop clerk to suggest an authenic Puerto Rician Restaurant. She said Platos. It was only 10min from the hotel and it wasn't crowded at 6:30pm.
Our server was Carla and she also had a trainee,Nelson. Our party had nobody that spoke or read Spanish however Carla was patient and went thru the menu item by item. One in our party had Mahi Mahi dish and said that it was unbeliveably good. The remainder of the party decided on a variety of appetizers. The meal ended with Expresso and a "cheese flan".
The later it become the more crowded it became. They also had live music.
This restaurant is definitely worth seeking out.
