No frills motel but for the low rate you definitely get your money's worth. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a full hearty breakfast + tea or coffee is included and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The motel is located only about 15 to 20 min outside Quebec city, so if you have a vehicle this is not an issue. The area the motel is located is quite beautiful itself. If you have time take a whirl around Chateau Richer (there is a map provided upon your arrival). It's quite lovely.

Planned to only stay a night but were so impressed with the staff and amenities decided to stay a second!

Stayed here for one night on the way back home. The location is decent, it was kind of far from downtown Quebec City but the small town it is in is beautiful. The reception was beyond friendly. The lady actually convinced us to check out the waterfall down the street and gave us exact directions. We're so glad she told us about it, it was a high light of our long drive home.

The rooms were old fashioned and small but clean. Similar to others I have stayed in in this price range.

The breakfast is excellent. It is a *sit down* style breakfast, not a crappy selection of stale danishes like other free-breakfast places give you. You get a choice of a few meals, eggs, toast, bacon, etc, the basics. Made just for you.

A great, reasonably priced to stay if you're on your way through the city.

Every staff member I ran into was completely bilingual as well.

We only stayed here one night but will never forget this place. The location of course is very good and the breakfast is also beyond continental we expected. But the most impressive is the nice people here. The car we rent got some problem and couldn't start after we checked out and planed to leave. The owner Monic was very kind to interpret for us since the service staff from the garage didn't speak English. Besides this, Monic also helped us to call the rental company and tried her best to find the best way to figure it out for us. We might be unluky to rent a car in bad condition but we were definitely lucky to have Monic there.

This property is quite old but extremely well maintained. Comfortable rooms - ours was actually two adjoining rooms with double beds and a fold down bed if required. The door way between the adjoining rooms was open.
The bathroom area is quite compact but serves its purpose. The owner, Carole, speaks good english and was most helpful in giving advice on sight seeing.
There is no microwave in the room but one is available in the office area if you wish to heat food. There is also no water heating facility for that morning cup of coffee/tea. The advertised american breakfast was not available but I believe will be so from the 15th June.
You need a car to stay at this property - there are restaurants about 3 min away (try the Les Artiste - see separate review)
It is only about 20 min to downtown Quebec and an easy ride in
Beds were lovely and comfy as were the pillows. High quality sheets and bedding made for a very comfortable nights rest.
It is near a main road but did not get any road noise at night. All in all a nice place to stay

Room Tip: All are ground floor and pretty similar

My husband and I spent four nights at the Motel Spring. The staff easily recommended places to see that are in the area, and even booked a tour in Old Quebec for us. It is very close to Basilique de St. Anne de Beaupre, and many other beautiful churches, which I am very interested in. The breakfast that is included in the price of the room is delicious and a large portion is given. I will definitely recommend this Motel to everyone. The room is small, but it is very clean and neat. For someone like me who is on vacation to see the sights not sit a room all day, it is perfect. I will be returning to Motel Spring when I return to Quebec.

We enjoyed our stay at Motel Spring very much. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed.
The food was great and the room gave us all we needed for a good night sleep.
Also, the grounds are beautiful with a pond and flowers and a fountain. Also, relaxed on the swings.
We would definitely recommend this family business to everyone. The location is near to many of the attractions such as Morency Falls, Isle of Orleans and Ste Anne Shrine and Quebec City and Charlevoix.
