We stayed here for one night & had booked B&B. We arrived much later than expected as we had travelled on the Stornoway - Ullapool ferry which was 2 hrs late arriving due to rough sea. Arrived about 8.30pm hoping we would be able to get something to eat. We were greeted by Amy who made us feel very welcome, she even offered to light the coal fire in the lounge for us! It was a bit late for me to eat a big meal so Amy suggested an omelette with a salad. I was served the most delicious omelette & gorgeous, freshly made salad. My husband had a lovely beef casserole served with lots of freshly cooked vegetables.
The hotel is absolutely spotless with lots of attention to detail. The room was so comfortable with plenty of soft towels. We slept really well & were served a delicious breakfast. The staff are so welcoming & kind. Our only regret was that we weren't staying there longer. We spent several hours exploring the Black Isle which is lovely - especially Cromarty.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel & we hope to return.

Room Tip: I am sure they are all lovely

A fantastic dining experience. Professional and friendly service with a great welcome. Generous portion sizes with an excellent menu. Well presented dishes which were of superb quality. Thanks to Jamie the chef and all the staff...

We booked this hotel at the last mnute for a trip north to visit friends and were very pleased with the whole experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and well decorated.
The evening meal menu was limited to four choices per course but this was more than adequate when you saw those choices. My husband had saddle of wild rabbit, which he said was beautifully cooked. I had a steak, again brilliant. The one down-side was the charge of £3 per double serving of potatoes and of vegetables - the meal price should really include this and it is a long time since we have seen since a charge!
Overall it was a lovely stay and we would recommend it without hesitation.

Stayed one night recently. Left before breakfast so can't comment on it, but I imagine it's very good. We had dinner and it was superb. Also enjoyed the house white wine. Our room was spacious with a great view. The bed was comfortable. And we saw a fox outside as we were up so early. And everyone was very friendly.

On our way North on a very hot evening, it was a welcome and comfortable stay with delicious dinner. The view from the terrace in the evening sunset was lovely. Breakfast meal not quite as good, but very comfortable beds.
