“Excellent Short Break”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

We had a couple of days break here just after New Year.We were welcomed by a very pleasant, helpful receptionist and were shown to a lovely Room 7,with a Sea view, which was beautiful.
All staff were very friendly and efficient,a great credit to The Hotel. Food was first class, dinners and breakfasts. Room was nice and warm too. Could not find fault with anything at all.
We are looking forward to our next visit in the not too distant future. We will certainly recommend
this lovely Hotel to Family and Friends.

Room Tip: Room 7 very spacious with a sea view.

Stayed here for one night for an evening event and highly recommend it. To be honest, we weren't expecting too much from a small hotel like this, but it was lovely. The room was a good size, modern and clean, with a balcony and stunning view overlooking the golf course and coast. First thing in the morning it was just beautiful as the winter sun came up. The shower was powerful and the bath towels were pleasingly huge, which I find an issue at a lot of hotels. Breakfast was in the conservatory with the same stunning view, and there was a good range of hot and cold options, including a good vegetarian breakfast. Our evening meal was superb and service was efficient but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend a visit for dinner too.

Stayed for an overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast with the better half on Sunday 02 December 2012.

Room we were allocated was massive, 4 poster bed, beautiful views and was clean and comfortable. Dinner was average, we were offered the festive menu and to be honest if I was paying for it separate I wouldn't have been happy with the quality.

Breakfast was great, decent selection and I opted for poached eggs and toast which were very nice.

Lundin Links is quite a quite place, but we managed to find a wee pub down by the water called the Railway Inn which was excellent, friendly and lively for a Sunday night.

Overall we were happy with the overnight stay and would visit again. Should we be on room only, it's doubtful we would eat in the hotel.

Room Tip: If in summer ask for a seaview with a balcony.

Thank you for taking time to post a review following your recent stay. I was pleased to read that overall your time with us was satisfactory, however I disappointed at your comments regarding dinner. We are striving for quality and consistency in all that we do, and clearly this was not the case here - I do hope you will visit again in the future, and that we will have the opportunity to make amends! All the best. Kind regards, AW Saddler.

We are a married couple in our forties just back from a two night stay at the Old Manor Hotel. We had a nice warm welcome on arrival and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean and very comfortable with a lovely view of the Firth of Forth. Breakfast was great- plenty of it and it keeps you going for most of the day. We also had a meal in the hotel one night which was lovely. The conservatory has a stunning view- a nice setting for your breakfast in the morning. The hotel is near a nice coastal walk, good for blowing the cobwebs away. Also close to St Andrews and other nice nooks and crannies in the area. On the downside our wi-fi connection in the room was sporadic but that is a minor gripe. All in we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I'd recommend the hotel without hesitation.

We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights .The room accommodation was good as were the cooked breakfasts .There was not a great deal of choice for continental breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and efficient.Public areas were clean bright and warm.It was very good value for money. We got better rates for the room through phoning rather than booking online

Room Tip: Seaview room had fantastic view over the golf course

Lovely setting looking out over golf course to Firth of Forth. We had a sea view-well appointed room -clean and comfy. Although weather was not suitable [November]little veranda would be lovely when warm. In restaurant service prompt and food excellent-this also looked out over firth.

Room Tip: Sea side best
