Dinner for four on Sunday evening. Quiet in the restaurant but plenty of people arriving for take-away and deliveries going out. Small street frontage but bigger on the inside and tastefully decorated and furnished inside.

Wide menu with all the usual expectations met if that's what you're looking for, but we all had one or other of the house specialities and they were excellent - Indian spices and flavourings, but presented just that little bit differently. We are middle-aged now and maybe have smaller appetites, but portion sizes are generous enough for one starter between two, and one rice for two with main courses. Overall, an excellent quality Indian restaurant - had heard about it from others who said good things, and they weren't wrong!

Small parking at the back, or park in the public car park a short walk down the main road.

We have visited here a few times and the food is always great, the staff are also very nice. My favourite is the chicken tikka masala, which i had on this visit and of course accompanied with a nice cold pint of Cobra. Reasonable priced and I am not surprised its No1 on Trip Advisor.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night with family and although we all enjoyed the food the service was very slow. On a couple of occasions we had to ask waiting staff to take our order following a lengthy wait between courses which left us 0exposed to our other issue for longer than we would have liked, our other issue was the noise. Sitting behind us at the back of the room there was a table with several adults and children who were making so much noise that it was very difficult for us to have a conversation and there were a couple occasions where children were running back and forth to the toilet creating unnecessary noise. The slow service we can tolerate if the food is good but the noise not being dealt with will deter us from going back.
