Beautiful cottage full of charm in unspoilt countryside. We stayed for a weekend hardest part was leaving. So much care and detail had been put into making a welcome break first class accommodation.
Had an amazing stay the perfect getaway from it all - so relaxing and in an idyllic location. Lovely clean and homely cottage with a fabulous log burning stove, gorgeous spacious bedroom and bathroom and equipped with everything you need.
Will definitely return.
A lovely "home from home" experience.
A beautiful cottage in wonderful surroundings, comfy, cosy, inviting & as described "romantic".
Everything we needed was there & only 15 minutes drive into Bath so a perfect location too.
We will go back, I would love to see it in summertime.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The cottage & garden are beautiful as were the surroundings. The cottage is a nice 10/15 min walk from two pubs and a short drive to a train station or a drive into Bath. I'm glad I stayed outside of Bath to enjoy the calming & stunning scenery. I would thoroughly reccomend this cottage for anyone who wants to relax for a few days or wants to go into Bath to explore.
My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The views are beautiful and we were constantly drawn to the birdsong. Brooks' View is clean and a very well thought out holiday let. It's big enough for two people and my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would definitely come back.
My new wife and I stayed here as part of a 'Mini-Moon' celebration just after we got married - and it was exactly what wanted after the huff, puff and stress leading up to the wedding! The cottage itself is south of the city of Bath in a tiny little village, it is easy to find though and satnav's will take you right to the front door and the secluded and private parking bay. No one there to greet you, so just a case of taking your secure code and picking up the key outside the front door. What you get is a delightful little 1 bed cottage that is perfect for 2 people. Lovely little reception room leading into a great sized kitchen, then up the stairs to a large double bedroom and a huge bathroom and separate shower. My wife loved the bath.....and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A real highlight is the massive garden with a little hut looking out onto the stream at the back - we even enjoyed a BBQ there!
To sum up, it is all you need for a relaxing break in the countryside. Everyone we met between the 2 pubs (Hope& Anchor and the Wrightman arms) were so friendly it was unreal. The cottage is just perfect and we shall certainly be looking to come again.
Also, the landlady Anne - a real delight and very helpful in arranging all we needed via email
Tip- make sure you stop at major supermarket in Bath to stock up on food - you will not want to leave the cottage! Also invest in a local walkers map as the surrounding forest and countryside is magical

Beautiful little cottage which feels in the middle of no where but is only a short drive from Bath town. Very quiet and relaxing stay and was nice just to sit and watch the birds in the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer!
