My wife is very fussy everywhere we go about cleanliness as this has been her job for years. She was delighted with this lovely clean, quant hotel in the centre of town. The host is a very pleasant helpful person with terrible jokes. The breakfast was very good with more than enough choices. If you want to relax there is a lovely little sitting room with dvds, magazines, books and papers. We realy felt at home and not made to feel you have to get out in a morning. We will certainly use again when around the area and wont even bother looking for other places.Full marks at 100% +.Hope your business prospers and thanks for a very enjoyable stay,Stuart & Jean Taylor ,Rawtenstall,Lancs.

A cosy hotel with a very personal touch, a refreshing change from the big corporate hotels out there!. The Croft Hotel is also excellently located, right next to the market, Cliff Railway and within walking distance of Bridgnorth Severn Valley Railway Station too.

The rooms were comfortable though if you are tall you might want to mention this as the bathroom ceiling of the room we stayed in was too low to have a shower! Breakfasts were cooked to order and plentiful with nice cups of tea in proper china cups and saucers!

A quick review for a quick stay.

We stayed for one night in The Croft and had a lovely time. We received a very warm welcome from the owner who told us all about the town, the walks to do and some of the restaurants.

We stayed over on a Saturday night and were in one of the upstairs rooms. The room was comfy with a small but perfectly formed en-suite.

Breakfast included cereals juice etc available as options and you could choose your ingredients for your cooked English which came with toast too. All served on China plates in a gentile dining room.

Parking was either in the road or through an alley across the road in a Pay & Display, bot of which were free overnight.

One other thing, we got a 10% discount at a local restaurant when we mentioned that we were staying at The Croft - a nice bonus.

From the moment I arrived, I was met by the owner - Keith and I knew I was in for a treat. Someone who clearly takes hospitality seriously, I was shown to my comfortable, clean room and settled in. I only stayed one night but will definitely return for the quality of the service and breakfast alone. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and you were made to feel like the only guest staying there. Speaking to some of the other guests, they all felt the same (many were regulars), and at only £35 per night, I felt as though I was stealing!

An outstanding experience. Highly recommended to all.

Well, let us both say that the less than positive reviews eg. regarding the breakfast, tea and coffee facilities and the quality of the mattresses were a great surprise to us. We are now regular guests here, as we visit our mother, who is in residential care in Bridgnorth. We chose the Croft because of the earlier Tripadvisor reviews and we were certainly mega impressed on our first stay. True, we did comment on the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the lovely bedrooms but since then the matter has been fully addressed and no charge is now made. We stay here 7-8 times a year and the standard never drops from outstanding because Keith, Cina and Michelle have one objective - to make your stay memorable.

The breakfasts are truly stunning - the review earlier criticising the breakfast is completely at odds with our views. The choice is formidable, loads of choice - cereals, various fruits, yogurts, conserves, etc. The choice in the cooked breakfast is enormous and you can order as much or as little as you want so a suggestion that another bowl of cereal was necessary to fill you up is bizarre. The cooked breakfast is more than copious, freshly cooked and lovingly prepared. Sandy loves porridge and I love poached eggs and Cina strives to make sure both are prepared to our personal tastes. Cina's home made muesli is memorable. We could easily eat more, because it's all delicious and you can have as much as you want, but whatever you have is absolute quality.

The rooms are excellent - full of character, quality furniture and excellent facilities - whether it be the free DVD films, the plentiful supply of toiletries, the tea and coffee facilities or the high quality level of cleanliness. We always sleep well and have never had to question the dedication of Cina, Michelle and Keith, the owners, who run an outstanding hotel in a lovely part of the world.

We are regular clients but we have never seen any other guests treated any differently. The hotel, its owners and staff deserve high commendation for setting such a high standard. We can readily identify several hotels across the UK, as we live in France but work in the UK and therefore use hotels frequently, that could only dream of matching the standards achieved at the Croft.

To Cina, Michelle and Keith - we salute you!!!
