Stayed only for one night to break a long journey. Nice welcome from the owner, small but charming, spotless room in a lovely 300 year old building in a lovely little town. Had a great meal in the Old Castle, a friendly pub recommended by the owner, followed by a relaxing hour or so in the lovely lounge of the Croft super breakfast. Looking forward to going back for a longer stay.

My husband and i stayed at this delightful hotel for one night bed and breakfast at the weekend. Our room was lovely and full of character, very quirky! David the owner was very welcoming and could'nt have been more helpful, a lovely chap. The breakfast was served in a very cosy dining room and the breakfast was excellent. We had a marvellous short break, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bridgnorth.! Hope to stay again in the future.!

A warm and helpful welcome in a surprizing spacious hotel. The cosy lounge area and clean tidy breakfast area where we felt at home and were told to help ourselves to milk and bottled water.
The room we had (my mother and sister and I) was lovely and had everything we needed...comfortable beds, tea/coffee/chocolate, a tv (with a selection of dvds offered at reception for free) full lenght mirror and ensuit. The area around the hotel had plenty to keep us busy with the quaint shops, places to eat and more than enough wine bars.
The breakfasts were excellent and offer a wide selection. Thanks to the chef!

The only two downsides im sorry to bring up.
1) One of the beds had quite severe squeeking issues which for us was quite funny but had it of been a romantic get away may have been quite a dampner!

2) The parking was initally a problem. The hotel owner was quick to help and explained to ignore all the notices in the over night stay car park (opposite sainsburys) and pay only until 6pm as then it is free untill 8am. Even better, you CAN put a ticket in the window after 6pm to follow the 8am deadline. Parking fee examle: £3 for 10 hours =BARGAIN!

All of us agreed we would happily return to the hotel.

Thank you for your comments, your views were much appreciated. Thank you for bringing up the point of the squeaky bed, we had no idea of this issue but we have fixed the problem this morning. Some screws had stared to come loose and these have now been tightened and everything is now back to normal. You were in no danger of the bed collapsing but we do take your point regarding anyone coming for a romantic break.

Parking can be difficult in Bridgnorth but if, like yourselves, customers ask us before or on arrival, then we can give our customers the best options depending on their needs. There is always free overnight parking 30 seconds walk away from us but we can give ideas for daytime parking, including free parking within a few minutes walk from our premises.

Thanks again for your feedback, we enjoyed havIng you here and hope that we will see you again in the future

I stayed here regularly whilst working in Telford. As a lady working away from home, The Croft Hotel in Bridgnorth was a lovely place to return to in the evenings. The charming rooms were spotlessly clean and fresh. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts very tasty and nourishing. I appreciated being able to get fresh milk from the resident's fridge to use with the tea making facilites in my room. Always a friendly unobtrusive welcome from David.

This is an excellent little hotel with loads of quirky charm. We have stayed here 3 times now, and every room has been spotless and very nice. David's hospitality is second to none, and breakfast is both plentiful and very tasty. The hotel is located in a quiet street just a couple of minutes walk from high town centre with loads of nice pubs and eateries on the doorstep.

We booked this on the Thursday before a Saturday night visit for a Birthday Party in Bridgenorth. The Hotel is effectively a B&B but not that this was a problem. It is literally 50 yards off the High Street and there is parking almost opposite the hotel in a Public car Park. We were in room 6, which had been recently refurbished. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Nothing really to complain about at all!

Thank you for your excellent feedback, it was a pleasure meeting you and the rest of the party. You are correct that we are a B&B and not a Hotel and we do market ourselves as such although we do try to give a service well in excess of what you would normally expect with a B&B. we do try to keep our standards high so that customers are happy to use us even though we are not classified as a Hotel. However, the services that we do not provide, I.e. Bar and restaurant facilities are all available within a two minute walk.
Thanks again for the feedback, we hope to see you again in the future

This is a superb little hote B & B the welcome we were given was good without being obtrusive. It is smack bang in the middle of high town so of course parking can be an issue but plenty of car parks near by. The rooms and the hotel are spotless and has a old world charm. the breakfast is second to none with local sourced produce except the fish which is sourced from the north East.

We stayed NYE and had 2 rooms we could not have wished for a better start to the year and will definatly be returning soon.
