Stayed for 3 nights this week, very comfortable rooms. Staff and service excellent. Restaurant & Tapas were extremely busy all 3 nights. Food (breakfast and evenings) was lovely. We experienced no slow service, and will stay there next time we visit family & friends.

Had a meal here in August, there were 6 of us having tapas. After ordering it took about 3/4 hour for the first dish of 4 meatballs to arrive on its own and this continued. The food was lovely, but delivered in a very sparodic way, which when most dishes catered for 4 people we had a toss up each time who got something to eat. It took over 2.5 hours for 18 tapas dishes to be served. They were apologetic and gave us some free drinks, but really we just wanted our food. Not sure I will be rushing back. It’s good to see somewhere of quality in Carnforth to eat though and I applauded the efforts to renovate the building and offer some decent accommodation.

Last night was our 3rd visit to the Tapas Restaurant at the Station Hotel.
Everything was perfect and deserving of a 5 star review. The staff, the setting, the tapas menu/choice and importantly the food was absolutely spot on.
A real gem of a place in Carnforth.

We’ve just eaten here, the setting was great with the roof top terrace and the food was superb! The mushroom and ricotta pasta starter was gorgeous! We were served by Ella who was great, very attentive! Very reasonably priced and great offering of cocktails! Will definitely return soon
