We visited the greenlands village on a rainy holiday day, to visit the indoor playbarn with our two children. After a good play in the soft play we decided as it was still raining we would have lunch at wellies cafe. The food was very nice and portions were a good size. My 3 year old had a sandwich which comes as a full platefull plus a thoughtful small bowl of pombears! For 3 pounds i thought this was good value although the other prices, especially the drinks were a little on the expensive side. We had a lovely lunch and our visit was good, the only improvement i would suggest is for them to provide colouring or selection of toys to keep children entertained during the wait for the food ( as the place has quite a lot of kid aimed things). Service was good though and the wait was not longer than expected.

We came to visit the craft jewellers but popped into the cafe for lunch. Reasonable and interesting menu with sandwiches, baked potatoes, burger, fish and chips etc. and children's menu. Service was pleasant and efficient. My Lancashire rarebit with salad was ample and delicious. My partner's soup was delicious with good artisan type bread. The cake was delicious and very good portions. A very reasonable stop for lunch, either if you are visiting the craft village, farm park, or popping off the motorway.

Weeklies is situated on the tourist attraction Greenlands Farm. Close to M6 junction 35 and the town of Carnforth, it is situated next to a children's farm (available at a cost), a farm shop, wine shop and garden centre. The cafe restaurant is split on two levels and serves hot and cold food. A great stop just south of the Lake District and great countryside.

we've been here twice, the first time i had the soup which was nice and reasonably priced but the rest of the menu seemed very pricey and there wasn't much choice if you just wanted something light like a sandwich
