“80th Birthday surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

Last weekend six members of my family spent Friday and Saturday at Heacham Manor.
This hotel was excellent, staff could not do enough, The room we had, Lavendar, in the Courtyard, was first class, spotlessly clean, everything supplied that one could want.
Definitely be back.

Room Tip: Do not be afraid to have one of the courtyard rooms, they are beautiful

Spent Friday & Saturday night at the hotel a few days ago as part of an upgraded deal package. Couldn't fault it - excellent staff, our room was beautiful & the food was spot on ......
Breakfast was excellent, complimentary bottle of wine was in our room on arrival which overlooked the pond
100% recommendation

Had a lovely stay at this hotel with a deal that was an excellent buy and absolutely well worth the stay. Staff friendly and welcoming and breakfast excellent with hot food served on a hot plate. If it wasn't for the fact that we ate in the bar one evening because the restaurant was full and waited an hour without luck for a waitress to ask if we wanted a dessert or coffee or even the bill, I would give our stay an 'excellent' rating. The manager eventually took plates away but still no waitress and was difficult to catch her eye with the restaurant being so busy and we were out of the way. Room had a bath as well as an excellent powerful shower which was great as I do like to have the luxury of a choice of a long soak or use of a good shower when staying in a hotel.

Location is perfect for relaxation and a beautiful old building. Rooms are airy, quiet and very comfortable with the luxury of a bath.
The food was extremely good. The sraff were all very pleasant and helpful.
We went on a special deal but were never made to feel that we were in the cheap seats.

Spent 2 nights in a cottage room.
Room clean and well equipped with tea and coffee and complimentary toiletries.
We ate one night in the restaurant, food was fresh, hot and of good quality.
Staff very helpful and attentive.
Would recommend.

stayed for two nights with friends. we stayed in Lavender 4c, an upstairs room with sloping ceilings, which wasn't too much of a problem for me but as the bathroom had a sloping ceiling too this was a problem for my 6' 6" tall husband who couldn't get as near to the sink to shave as he would have liked. The bedroom was very warm even though it was chilly, we turned the heating off for comfort. we ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good, my husband mentioned that he thought one of his prawns wasn't quite right and the manager sorted out another four which we shared, they were delicious. The golf course was very good although the weather could have been kinder! would recommend to anyone and will hopefully stay again.
