“Excellent Weekend”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

Stayed for 2 nights over valentines weekend in a deluxe room and could not fault the entire weekend. Excellent staff who made you feel very welcome. Amazing food both nights. Our room was in the main building and was very well equipped and very comfortable. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and served right up to 10am too. Would certainly go back and would also recommend to anyone.

Just back from a couple of nights to mark a birthday. This place is most definitely up to scratch. Our priorities are a quiet, warm room, plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed, plus of course, cleanliness, all of which Heacham Manor achieved. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners, and found the staff helpful and friendly. My only adverse comment relates to pillows - I have a thing about too-firm acrylic-filled pillows, and on this rare occasion I forgot to bring my own (feather & down filled). It probably doesn't bother most people.

Room Tip: We had an upstairs room in Samphire cottage, which had no sloping ceilings. Apart from that, I thin...

I stayed here for a number of nights on a business trip.

The hotel is pleasantly situated and has good parking and amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are well equipped and furnished to a high standard.

Common areas are clean and well decorated.

Breakfast is cooked to order and is good value, the omelette is recommended . I also particularly like the home made preserves and the provision of home made biscuits in the room, a nice touch.

I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We were given a nights B&B including afternoon tea as a gift for Christmas. Because it had been purchased via a voucher company we only had January in which to use it.
We were greeted on arrival and booked in, no animosity that it was a cheap voucher booking which we had received at another hotel. We were advised to come back for the Afternoon tea in the conservatory after settling in.
Afternoon tea was as much tea as you wanted, we had 2 pots of Earl Grey, the sandwiches were small oblongs placed on the Slate plate, 2 of each Salmon, Cheese, Cucumber and Ham. Then we were served with a plate of small portions of cake. I am though a bit fussy about cake, it has to be moist so plain cake is a bit dry for me, hence why we had the second pot of tea. Because of the Afternoon tea we didn't unfortunately have an evening meal at the hotel, hopefully the next time.
So after spending a couple of hours in our room we decided to frequent the bar. My partner said the merlot wine was superb, I went for beer and had the Green King IPA which was pleasant, shame they didn't have some local brews, but probably don't have the throughput to command it.
Disappointing though was the barman who I believe was also doubling up as 'wine' waiter in the restaurant, but we didn't have to get anywhere so it didn't matter too much.
The room in the annexe was smart, modern and being upstairs had a skylight window, again not a problem as it overlooked the small lake.
The room was very warm even though we tried to adjust the thermostat, so opening the window cooled it down. We did turn the thermostat down to 10 which seemed to turn off the radiator but it didn't get cold in the room so the insulation is good.
Breakfast was beautifully cooked, with enough to set you up for the day.

All staff were friendly and it was a surprise to be greeted by the General Manager while sitting in the Lounge, a nice touch to see that top management appreciate your custom.

Yes a great place to stay.

We had a fabulous weekend (with our dog) and were made very welcome. The room was clean and warm with brilliant facilities. We would not expect to walk our dog over the golf course or take her into the bar. The breakfast and evening meal were fantastic, staff friendly and attentive. . Our friends who live locally joined us on Friday night for a meal and came back on Saturday because is was such good value. Hope to return soon.

We just got back from a two day break at Heacham Manor.
When we arrived we were taken back with its beauty.
We were greeted by a smile at reception and she explained were we were staying and booked us in for dinner as we didn't know what was around.
We had a room in the Lavender Block on the first floor.
This was simply lovely really modern fixtures and fittings nice big bath, shower and heated towel rail ( Will put pictures up in a mo).
You get complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled still and sparkling water. Also fresh milk in a flask and fresh handmade cookies ( which were lovely)
The bed is amazingly comfy!
Each room has its own heating control so you can sort that yourself but the people downstairs had there's on full blast.
So we had the velux window open the whole time but that can't be helped.
They have a guest information book in the rooms witch is quite informative but needs some updating.
We ate in the restaurant on both nights as the food was AMAZING!
it's expensive but not through the roof.
We pushed the boat out because it was our mini moon.
We had the lamb rack on the second night and it was cooked beautifully, melt in your mouth meat.
The main hotel looks really modern from the outside, when you go in its a little outdated and needs updating.
I couldn't fault the service we received.
A great few relaxing days
Thank you
