We stayed here as our friend was getting married at Polhawn Fort nearby. This place is beautiful I couldn't recommend it enough. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful! And the breakfast is just amazing. This place is Cornwall's best kept secret! Excellent

We enjoyed an excellent overnight stay here whilst attending a wedding at Polhawn Fort. It is a beautiful property in which we stayed in the big family room with wonderful views over the bay. It was spotlessly clean, the decor was lovely and it contained everything that we needed. Jen was a lovely friendly hostess and provided us with a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. There was also the choice of cereals, grapefruit, toast and juices etc. Unfortunately it was only the one night stay because we would have liked to stay longer. We hope to return in the future to stay here and to also explore the beautiful surrounding area, hopefully in better weather conditions!

Excellent breakfast, service, the rooms are stunning. There was a great selection at breakfast of cereals and the fry up was very tasty.

Smallest complaint the towels were a bit musty. But they happily changed them.

Would easily stay here again. The sea can be seen from the B&B and Polhawn Fort is very close by.

to stay at Combe House. You will not regret it! Our son was married at Polhawn Fort and 5 of our wedding guests and family stayed there. We looked at quite a few accommodations in that area before visiting Combe House. Once Jen showed us around we booked it instantly. I could go on about cleanliness, space, views etc as they all warrant a gold star but really all that needs be said is "book it", you will not regret it.

We stayed with Jen and Allen recently for a few nights, and as soon as I spoke to Jen when I booked I felt as if she was a friend and Coombe House was going to be special. Other comments had already spoken highly of Jen, her warmth and going that extra mile, and it was all spot on. Her warm greeting, going that extra mile to book us dinner, taxis and tell us all the secrets of the surrounding area, she was great. We were shown all five rooms and they were all of the same high standard, beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and with everything you could need. The shower was excellent too. And the view from the house is stunning! Breakfast was all we expected it to be and more, freshly cooked, quality food and plenty of it too.

We will definitely return to Coombe House and to two newly made friends who made us feel so welcome.

Thank you Jen and Allen

Just returned from combe house after attending a wedding at Polhawn fort. Our 3 night stay was superb. The family room was very clean & comfortable with a stunning view over the sea .Jen was a fantastic host serving an amazing breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very informative about the surrounding area even booking a table for us at the devonport inn the night before the wedding. We would certainly stay stay again if we were in the area again.
