The Blue Monkey is a wonderful place to stay in this hidden gem of a spot in the UK. There is a spiritual magic here to embrace, giving the whole family a sense of peace and relaxation. You have thought of everything. Many Thanks

“Great location, excellent facilities”

Blue Monkey is situated in the heart of the village next door but one to The Halfway House pub. The house is comfortably furnished and there was plenty of room to accommodate our family party of 9 adults and one small child. The garden is an added bonus as it is sheltered and very sunny. We enjoyed the first BBQ of the year.
We were able to book an excellent meal to be left in the freezer for our first night, organic beef lasagna with garlic bread made with the abundant wild garlic growing locally. This house has a splendid location and the walks from the doorstep around the peninsular are glorious. The village is small and friendly with good pubs and cafes.

“Superb, spacious, well appointed property.”

We spent a week with 9 members of family and everyone thought the place was fantastic. Plenty of space (although it doesn't look it from outside,) and very well appointed with excellent bath/shower facilities together with games/entertainment for all ages. A particularly nice touch was the "welcome" Cream Tea and Wine! Lovely log burner in the living room for the colder evenings, which was well used in February :-) The whole area is beautiful and Blue Monkey is a great place to base any family and/or friends group. We'll be re-booking....

I stayed here last autumn with my family at the end of October and just loved it. I have so many happy memories and I fell in love with this house and the environs. Definitely want to return again this year if I can!

Spent a week over Christmas with a teen, three twenty somethings, elderly grandma and her partner. The house was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming, with a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations and a cosy log fire. Lots of bathrooms, very well-equipped kitchen and just a stone's throw from the beach and a perfect pub serving fresh, locally caught fish. We even swam with about fifty locals on Christmss morning and were treated to mulled wine afterwards by the pub landlord. Glorious walks nearby and lots of pretty fishing villages to visit, as well as this one. Highly recommend. Thank you.

“EPIC STAY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

The house wants for nothing! It is very warm and homely and a great base for a family or group to explore this very unspoilt idylic area. We were there for my son's Passing Out Parade from the Royal Navy. It is close to HMS Raleigh and super to relax after 10 weeks of hard training. Walks on the beach and lovely local pubs with great food. The house is highly appointed with everything you will ever need, clean and modern with period features. Log fire makes a great focal point. Would happily visit again and would recommend anyone to go.

Blue Monkey is the most idyllic, beautifully designed, light spacious house in the charming seaside village of Cawsand. The house contains everything you could want - from travel cots to wood fires, to huge baths, to light streaming in the bedroom window. If we weren't a stones throw from all the main attractions, we could have stayed in the house all weekend. All bedrooms are a great size and all bathrooms luxurious. I can't wait for our next stay!
