“Building works going on, but still relaxing”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

The price is pretty standard for thermal baths in Switzerland (about 20 CHF per entry, altough we got in for 16 CHF, as we were staying through RCI). There was one big indoor pool, and two outdoor ones. There were some building works going on, but we still found them to be very relaxing, with spectacular views.

“Les Bains d'Ovronnaz, Ovronnaz, Vallais, Switzerland”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

Very nice Spa complex, with Spa and Hotel facilities. Very nice view of the alpes from the outside pools. However we found that the baths were relatively small and the water in all the pools was at the same temperature 33C. Price for a single entry was CHF 20, reasonable compared to similar Spas in the region. There was an attractive package comprising double entry (same person in the day)and a meal voucher for CHF 19.50 for a price of CHF 33.The 12km drive from the town of Riddes took 25 min.Open from 8am to 8:30pm

“Not bad, but not fantastic either”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

The view is great even not exceptionnal, it is always fun to take your bubble bath starring at the mountains. The baths look relatively clean but not over the standards. They will get bigger next year (2013) but so far they are relatively small, but they are expensive tough. So if you like such baths, you can go there. That said, not the best ones I have been too so far.

“nice place for a short get away”
Reviewed January 26, 2012

We stayed in an apartment that was privatly owned in the chàlet type blocs connected to the thermal baths (found on internet). Our apart was facing south and the mountains with the sun-up sun-down view, in other words perfect also as it had the heated tunnel and lifts to go through without having to go outside.
There were rather few people at a time.I counted 35 to 40 for the 3 pools. People bath up untill closing time 21h and from opening 8am..
I enjoyed going to the free Acqua gym classes every morning at 10h, the teacher Angelo was funny and nice. I didn't use the Wellness centre as I found their prices far too high. I live in Geneva and its an expensive place but I found the massages etc in Thermalp 20 to 30 francs more for the same type and lenght.
The restaurant is o.k. but nothing to write home about. Advice: buy the day pass ( frs 32) which allows you 2 entrees the same day and you can eat for frs 19.50 at mid-day from the menu or the plat of the day. For those that ski, there is a free ski bus near by that takes you to the lifts. DONT go during school holidays if possible as the place is overcrowed.
