“Restaurant matches the facade”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

Having holidayed here at our apartment near Sucina for five years we decided to try this restaurant which we had passed many times and were not disappointed.. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We had the garlic prawns to start with and goats cheese in puff pastry followed by steak which we cooked ourselves on a lava stone and it was beautifully tender and tasty. We would really recommend La Casa del Reloj even though it is a bit pricy.

Positives- pretty place, professional enough staff, nice environment, quick to serve
Negatives- Overpriced, bland food, tough meat, surprised they don't charge for the air...

“Looks promising but very disappointing”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

It really is a lovely place ( once you find the right entrance door) and the service is professional enough. They are really let down by the kitchen. The fish in puff pastry is so wafer thin I had to search for it. The plates arent warmed so the sauce was cold and the tenderloin/fillet steak was tough. It is very over priced and they go so far as to charge 1.25 euros per person for bread, even if you don't eat any and 6 euros for a child's ice-cream. They do have some set menus in the 25-35 euro price range ( not including drinks or bread) but there had to be a minimum of 2 people ordering the same one. There are too many other yummy restaurants in the area so I will give this one a pass next time.

“Food and location experience”

Well cooked food - something different to the norm! Fab building worth going to see just to step back in time - ask to look around they wont mind. Going out should be about more than just good food and wine....this is.

“Lovely setting, nice food”
Reviewed July 23, 2012 via mobile

Ate with my family in pizza restaurant, garden and setting was lovely, starters were excellent, pizza and pasta were fine, deserts but disappointing - too much cream! Wine was excellent and great value at 12 euros- worth a visit and great for young children
