We only stayed one night in this hotel and arrived late but the staff were very accommodating and nothing was too difficult for them.
The room was a good size and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. We left early the next morning so didn't have time to get the best of the facilities but they all seemed lovely.
It was also very well located close to bars and restaurants but also the glorious beach.
I would highly recommend.

I stayed here on business for a couple of nights.

The staff were excellent - very helpful and accomodating.

The rooms were very comfortable and a good size, with great views. Room service was good, the choice would have been a little larger.

Food in the restaurant is also of a hgh quality.

Room Tip: Choose whether you want morning or evening sun in your room!

This 30 room hotel might well be the best seaside hotel I have ever stayed in. We just returned after 6 nights there on a B&B basis. We asked for and got a 2nd floor room with a full sea view (some have palm trees in the way!) and a terrace to sit on. There are 6 rooms on the ground floor beside the pool and at 90 degrees to the restaurant - these rooms have no view out and little privacy. One floor above, at Reception level, are 12 rooms and above that the second (top) floor of another 12 rooms which would be the ones to go for!

Our standard room was a good size, very clean and had free safe, fridge and a 32" flat screen TV. There were lots of channels but not one in English. That is a clue to the type of visitor that Sant Carles gets - 95% Spanish!! And that's exactly what we liked about it - well off the usual tourist track, "real Spain" and prices to reflect that. There is also an underground parking garage that is free for stays of 5 days or more. In fact the room rate is discounted 25% for stays of 5 days or more, which makes this property real good value.

The pool was never busy and was a pleasant area to lounge in. Right off that area is a gate out to the lovely promenade with access to the immaculately kept beaches of San Carles.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk into the town itself - several very good restaurants there where one can eat splendidly for great value. Several offer a 3 course dinner with wine included in the €15 - 18 range. Astonishing quality and value especially if you enjoy seafood.

The Ebre Delta is easily accessible by car on on rented bikes, and is a must to see for the rice fields and the bird life, as well as the remote beaches. Boat trips are a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Sant Carles is an easy one hour's drive south from Reus Airport - the town and the Miami Mar hotel are both highly recommended to those who enjoy a quieter holiday experience. It is not for those who prefer the brash resorts!!

Room Tip: get a 2nd floor room at the sea end.

This hotel is in a quiet part of town right on the beach. It is a smallish hotel so does not have the usual tourists. Rooms are of a good size and facilities are excellent. There is a Michellin Star restaurant on site but IMHO its a bit over-rated food wise.

Booking sites had little room availability but the hotel had heaps spare. Try booking direct with the hotel if you cant get a triple. Every room can be made to a triple.

Stay here!

Room Tip: Room 32 is the pick but it is a superior. Quads are on the bottom floor with little view but good p...

We stayed here in September 2011 and the Feckenhampsters and others are correct, this place is a gem. There are hotels with better views, better restaurants (although I really can't remember where) and better rooms. But we've never stayed anywhere that pulled it all together like the Miami Mar - It's just a brilliant combination of very good things. Beautiful rooms with balconies, great location, wonderful restaurant, but the key to it all are the staff. From the owner downwards they are warm, friendly and eager to please - and fun with it. We had great advice about the food, where to go, and even got offered help to mend a puncture. And they seem to be multi lingual. Obviously Spanish, then Catalan, English, and we even got a bit of Japanese.

Possibly the best hotel in the world? We've stayed all over the planet, but nothing beats this!

Try it - we hope you enjoy it as much as us. Tim & Ruth.

Room Tip: Second floor will give a better view, but not by much.

A newish (2000) hotel run by a family who have had hotels and restaurants in Sant Carles for generations - two generations oversee this spotless haven of calm overlooking the sea at the quiet end of town. It's unusual not to be able to identify a single fault but everything here is exactly what it should be - from the welcome by the multilingual reception staff, the standard of the modern but comfortable rooms, the friendly local advice to the immaculate food and service in the restaurant. You may find the a la carte menu a bit pricey but the quality is extremely high. An ideal base for exploring the fascinating Ebro Delta - or just chilling on the well manicured beaches. Sant Carles is more of a Spanish/Catallan resort - no flashy bars and discos - just real people enjoying the seaside. Highly recommended!

This hotel sits at the quiet end of town, right down at the shore line. The rooms are spotless, modern and very comfortable, and my party all had balconies overlooking the beach.

The hotel is very spacious, air conditioned and has a lovely garden with a pool.

The restaurant is very well known for its fish and very popular and busy. The restaurant staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough to make us welcome. They were very keen for us to try out the fishy dishes and I lost count of the number of platters they brought to our table. They enjoyed explaining to us just what we were eating!

We really enjoyed our three days there and would recommend it to anyone heading for this area
