I was invited to several celebrations to this restaurant. I should say we were always very satisfied with the service and quality of the food.
They serve extrermly delicious rasberry "schnaps" as a starter. The food is very delicious and home prepared. Duew to my bussiness occupation I am oftenly a guest in numerous restaurants and I would say that this is the best "homefood" in Slovenia.

@Family Porenta: Keep doing this way.

We stayed with our extended family (total of 6 adults and 10 kids) for 5 nights. Betty, the owner was charming and a great cook. We chose the half board option which included the most amazing dinners every night (including the nights we arrived back late) and a rich and home made breakfast. The rooms we modern and comfortable with a veranda opening up to fields with cows and horses while church bell rang out in the background. The shower was one of the best I have had. There was lost of room for the kids and unlike other hotels the rooms accommodated up to 5 or 6 people. The cost was very reasonable. The hotel was close to all the attractions and had lots to do for the kids as well. There was a trampoline, table tennis, animas and cycling in the hotel itself with many other things to do nearby. I have nothing negative to say.

A bit slow in getting my review done however-. Stayed with this family before and can only say they treat you like one of their own. Beti and Simon (who works the farm) go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Accomodation and food is exceptional. Food is home made and home grown. If you want a get away from it all experience you need look no further. Will return without question.

I have just returned from a touring holiday two nights of which were spent at Pri Marku,
from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for Bety and Simon, The standard of sevice was excellent as was the food, the rooms are spotless clean and very comfortable,
for a quiet and peaceful break I can't recommend Pri Marku enough.

It was a wonderful stay at the tourist Farm Pri Marku. Family Porenta is extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The house is located in a small village "Crngrob" which is quite easy to find. Homemade cooking is a great advantage! Rooms are clean and cosy. Commucation in English or German with no problems at all. Drinking a glass of homemade applejuice is a must!

Friends of ours stayed at Pri Marku years ago and have been encouraging us to go ever since.
So we booked in for 4 nights for late September. We drove in from the west and by carefully following instructions had no difficulty in finding Crngrob. We wondered at first if we were a little isolated in this small village delightful as it is, but we found it very central to the places we wanted to visit and we enjoyed returning to the rural peace in the evening. Our accommodation was all that we could wish for and our meals were home cooking at its best. Beti and Simon are a very well organised and hard working couple but they found time to stop, have a chat and give us some insight into life in Slovenia. We were very impressed by the efforts they had made to learn English which they now speak well enough to communicate with English speaking guests very freely. We look back on our time at Turist Farm Pri Marku with great fondness and are pleased we followed the recommendations of our friends. If you want a tourist experience that is a little bit different - go.

Have stayed with the Porenta family on a number of occasions now. You are made to feel as part of their family from the minute you arrive. The hospitality is incredible. On the day we arrived Bety was busy catering for a wedding party!! but still had time to take care of us. The standard of accomodation is top class and would easily meet the standards of many high class hotels. The food is to die for. Will always return when I am in Slovenia cant think of anywhere to better it. Thanks to all again
