Pros: Very cute resort - lots of details the kids will love - live characters and face painting in the evenings. Clean nice room, liked the bathroom. I booked directly with the hotel and got a great room facing the fountain (rooms 2107-2111 are all facing the fountain from the 2nd floor). Nice staff, loved the free shuttle to and from Gardaland.

Cons: No indoor pool for cold/rainy days. Breakfast was pretty bad. Dinner doesn't start until 7:30pm...which ended up being fine b/c the night we ate the buffet it was not good and super expensive.

Advice. Stay and enjoy the hotel, the kids will love it. Eat dinner in Garda - tons of lovely restaurants on the water that are less expensive and better. **If breakfast is not included in your rate then get food elsewhere for less.

Room Tip: You can buy your tickets to Gardaland from the hotel...easier and I think a little cheaper than at t...

Dear Guest,

Greetings from Gardaland i would like to thank you for your kind words and feedback.

I am very happy that you liked our Resort, Accommodation , Transfer service and i understand that you got exactly the right mood to evaluate our property.

Regarding your comments on the indoor pool, please note that our hotel is seasonal so an eventual investment of an indoor pool would be without profit for us. Usually we open from April to late October when weather is still good.

Regarding our culinary offer please note that our restaurant has the ISO2000 certification, in terms of quality and cleanless, and this is a unique add on value that many restaurants do not have. I would like to mention as well that our products are km zero and of course the venue is unique being a part of Gardaland World.

Thank you again for your kind comments, i hope to see you & your family in Gardaland Resort,

Kindest Regards,

Claudio Tammaro

I spent the vacation at The Gardaland Hotel with my family, during the low season.
The rooms were clean and awesome, but dislocated from the reception. Infact, our room was located in one of many depandaces and I think we payed a bit too much for this tipe of the room. There was no coffee stuff in the room.
The staff was friendly and helpful, except in one detail that really disappointed me and was very unprofessional: the front desk staff never gave me the pricelist of what I payed for. I also payed additional 15 EUR a night for the balcony, but I couln't call it so. It was practilally useless, too small, more like a french balcony.
The breakfast was excellent and the kids liked it very much. Other services and activities for the kids are various, but quite expensive.
The area is nice decorated, attractive to the kids.
The wifi is useless, because I couldn't have it in my room, only in determinated areas, in the main building.
The kids liked the area and the activities, but the additional services, in my opinion, are quite poor and overpriced.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building.

Dear Guest,

Greetings from Gardaland Resort i hope you are doing well.

Firstly please allow me to thank you for your kind feedback and comments which i find very usefull.

Gardaland Hotel is a unique product in the Italian market, being a theme hotel our guests appreciates the style and design of the complex. All our rooms except the hotel suites, which are in the main building, are located in the additional blocks. Of course as i previously mentioned, being a theme property, the blocks give a magic athmosphere surrounded by gardens.

Regarding the wifi i am very happy to inform you that, following also your comment, we implemented this service and now we have free wi-fi in all rooms and public areas as well.

I would like to thank you once again and i hope to see you soon in our Resort,

Kind Regards,

Claudio Tammaro

It's a winner! Both the hotel and the theme park were a big hit with both the guys here at Italy and Beyond as well as one of our clients, a family of four. We also met up with some locals there and it really didn't disappoint!

The express pass is well worth the extra! If it is busy and you don't want to line up then this is a dream............bypass the line and head straight in.

(@ 2011) A hot dog set us back about 3.60Euro, which for a theme park we felt was pretty reasonable. Not shortage of food and drink outlets. A latte cost 1.50Euro.

Stay at the hotel and buy your tickets there and you get a discount of 15%. Entry was reasonable and considering opening hours in summer (@ 2011) were from 10am to 11pm we really felt we got value for money. In addition, a free shuttle runs between the hotel and the park.

Room Tip: Some ground floor rooms have sliding doors outside,

We spent two nights in this hotel and thought it was amazing. Having read previous reviews I was very excited to stay, especially being a fan of Disney hotels. The price we paid for two nights was amazing compared to the Disney hotels. The Gardaland Hotel lived up to expectations, the décor was amazing and the rooms were gorgeous. The room was very spacious and had a very comfy bed. The pool was freezing though. We had breakfast with our stay and thought this was brilliant albeit a bit overpriced, there was plenty of choice and we filled ourself up for a day in the park.

The only downside to this hotel was the cost of dinner. Due to it being very out the way and us not having a car we thought we were going to have to bit the bullet and pay the prices. We went out for a walk and after about a 40 minute walk we found a little holiday park which had a lovely little restaurant with very reasonable food prices. We ate here both nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend a stay here but would suggest eating outside of the hotel.

I will list the advantages and disadvantages as below
Advantages,
1. Clean
2. Friendly & helpful staff
3. many activities for kids (during Halloween)
4. Nice atmosphere
5. Good breakfast
6. Nice Birthday celebration

Disadvantages ,
1. Location , normally its a walking distance from the theme park , this hotel is isolated and a bit far from the Gardaland , without any clear signage to it as its not on the main street!!

we spent 30 minutes searching for it and it was night , the area is kind of silent and very calm at night without street lighting and very limited small signage , we had to ask people in the street (which you rarely find in that area), it was really frustrating, its not listed even on the navigator !!.

2. no tea and coffee stuff in the room.
3. No internet in the room
4. they charged me Euro 15/ night for the balcony which is useless as there is no view and the room is in the first floor which makes it hard to open or set on the balcony.

We were there with some friend and kids, hotel is great, rooms are spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was really excelent but we did nt eat dinner because i think the price for the dinner is too expensive so we went just 2 minutes far from there a gorgious restorant..the name is Gune´and we didn t regret...i can reccomend the place to everyone!!!
So,if you are travelling without kids, avoid the hotel,it s not a place where you can rest, but for the families is just fine.
The swimmingpool area is spacious and well decorated as the rest of the hotel.
