Great place to visit. Rooms are quiet and nice. They have an outdoor pool which is very relaxing. Close to sites yet out of the way. A very beautiful setting. We only stayed on night but would be great to stay a couple and travel from there.

We organised our wedding here with 34 people, 3 nights. The Pometti family and the villa and agristurismo was fantastic. They were extremely accommodating, professional, friendly and easy, and all the staff were great.
The value was great, the food was brilliant over three days and the wedding dinner, plus we organised a cooking class, and a tuscan wine tasting with Signor Pometti......
We cant say enough about the place and would recommend anyone wanting to do an out of town (ie; it might not have all the trimmings but we are sure they will do their best to organise it if you gave them time), Tuscan wedding with friends - this is it.
The building are divided so you can party in one, and quieter couples can retire early to the other, plus the main house is quiet and large with modern amenities, a great pool and outdoor wood fired pizza oven (a must!). The location is picture card perfect, and central for traveling around. The local wine is excellent, the food and variety of local tuscan dishes where oh so moorish fattening and had us wanting more even when we were stuffed. The guys there either organised the things we wanted or let us organise our own champagne - they were so accommodating and relaxed we wanted to stay.
Every single one of our group said they wanted to come back (different people from 6 countries), and we are thinking of organising a group for a future weekend just for the hell of it next year.....68 thumbs up!

Room Tip: We booked them all, but the ones up top have great views, and its worth asking for the ones with a b...

After four weeks in a busy tourist-filled city, I needed to get away for a week-end, read by a pool, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Tuscan countryside. Villa Boscarello was suggested by a good friend of the owner's daughter and I booked sight unseen. A short 45-minute train ride took me from Siena to Asciano where the lovely Vittoria offered to pick me up at the train station. We chatted in the car on the way to the Villa in Trequanda, and once there, she showed me to Ciliegie ("cherries"), a beautiful butter-yellow room with a hand-painted frieze below the ceiling, with a huge, airy, blue and white bathroom overlooking the hills. On the wicker seat of the chair were two big fluffy pool towels and within 10 minutes, I was happily soaking up the sun with a good book in my hand. Dinner is offered at their sister property, La Selva, a very short walk down the road. For a mere 20 euros, we were treated to a four-course home-cooked meal accompanied by their very own wines : a rosato to start with, their Merlot-based Boscarello with the meal and the delicious Chiantina, a fortified dessert wine served with Vittoria's peach cake to savor on the patio as the sun set. Dulcio Pommeti will gladly show you the wine-making process and their wine and olive oil can be purchased on site.

We recently spent a week at Boscarello biking and taking cooking lessons. It was fabulous. The food and hospitality were exceptional, the accommodations superb and the views to die for! We spent our mornings biking, afternoons in cooking lessons with Carlotta, happy hour on the upstairs balcony with a bottle of Pometti wine and the spectacular Tuscan views, and the evening enjoying the wonderful food prepared during and after our cooking lesson. Carlotta and Duccio were truly gracious and friendly hosts and the staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Duccio's leading us through a tasting of their Pometti wine was one of many highlights. Meeting the pet wild boar, Cuddi Cuddi, was another. The renovation of Boscarello, updating it in 2000 from its 300+ year old origins, left a marvelous place to stay and to relax. And did I mention the views? We loved everything about it and would return tomorrow if our circumstances allowed. And don't forget to bring home some of their Pometti wine and olive oil.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor have excellent views and access to the wonderful upstairs patio.

La Selva is in one word amazing. The Pometti family re-invented the word "Hospitality" and made La Selva the perfect get-a-way in Italy.

Room Tip: Join the weekly dinners served by the family Pometti with their own wines! It's a blast
