This place was superb...and a great value. We were very self-sufficient, but Antonio was extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants, sites, and wineries. Set on a picturesque slope not far from Poggibonsi, it was a quiet hideaway, but also very close for daytrips to Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, and even Montalcino. Easy check-in and check-out; no hassles. Thanks very much Antonio for making our time there the best.

You're surrounded by the hills of Tuscany here and Antonio was awesome in taking care of us. We rented the grainery which was converted into a home and it was spacious and roomy. I have to say the villa itself is awesome and the reviews hold true here.

Going to keep this short given what I had previously read:

- wifi was fine though some had said it was spotty
- pool is remarkably clean, no mosquitoes and no mystery items on the floor
- view is breathtaking, you are surrounded by the rolling hills of Tuscany
- the villa we rented, contrary to what others have said, was not impeccably clean when compared to truly spotless places I've stayed around the world in 5 star hotels and resorts. Bed linens, bathroom, sheets were all fine. However, for context, keep in mind the entire Tuscan region is basically nature. So, to be fair, that's the expectation one needs to go in with when staying in that region. No doubt Casale di Villore is probably the best option in all of Poggibonsi; however, I will relay that we found really fat centipedes that looked like caterpillars in our rooms many nights, spiders, mosquitoes, flies, beetles with antennas, and one morning even a grasshopper in our kitchen. One finding is nothing ever made it into our sheets directly, we checked every night (I would advise you bring a flashlight with you as it's pretty dim in the rooms)

Again, want to emphasize that Antonio does very well with this villa but to be realistic, this isn't like a 5 star resort on a remote island type of clean. It's the true countryside and likely your best bet in Poggibonsi! Deserves it's top rating through and through!

Room Tip: Book the isolated home (grainery), you will hear nothing and the whole place is yours.

What a wonderful place and Antonio was so helpful in our planning. The scenery was beautiful and so very peaceful. We loved it and hope to return. From our room we could see the rolling hills and many cypress trees. Several towns were very close and great for an evening out.

We just spent a wonderful week in Tuscany, and one of the highlights was staying in Casale di Villore. It's a gorgeous property with stunning views of rolling green hills, olive trees abound, and the pool is also beautiful (even though it was too chilly to use it).

We were there with our two-year-old son who loved running around, playing with the rocks and looking at the pool. It's a quiet, lovely place where you can listen to the birds singing all day and watch butterflies flitting about. We stayed in the Granaio apartment, which was more than perfect for all of our needs. It was comfortable, spacious, and when we needed to use the heater, it worked very, very well. The kitchen is great, and we enjoyed our apperitivos and dinners while watching a gorgeous Tuscan sunset every night.

Poggibonsi town has everything you need for groceries and other things (we needed to have our car looked at while we were there), but it is a bit of a drive away (15 min or so). I would say a car is a necessity. Antonio was also so helpful, answering all of our questions and giving great recommendations. We would happily return any time.

Room Tip: Just a tip for anyone traveling with kids - we picked Granaio even though it was bigger than necessa...

We were 2 married couples traveling through Italy by car. We wanted old, authentic, Tuscan feel and found it here. We cannot adequately describe the views, the lawns, the quietness and richness of this property. Why drive back to town to eat when groceries and wine from local stores, prepared here, and enjoyed alfresco was so much better. The rooms were immaculately cleaned, bright and airy. Antonio was always there to give recommendations and directions. It was wonderful to share a bottle of wine with the other guests, out on the lawn, and did I mention the views!!?? This hilltop location gave us sunrises and sunsets. Poggibonsi was close to a major highway and manageable by car to find anything we needed.
