We were a group of 19 adults, mostly family members and friends. We have never heard of Poggibonsi but our travel guide recommended the place as our home base in our tour of the Tuscany region. The place was a fulfillment of all our expectations. Huge and beautiful rooms, very friendly owner and staff, excellent food, great service, scenic views, and most of all, very reasonably priced. We reserved quite a number of rooms for 5 days and enjoyed every second of our stay.
Highly recommended. In fact we can't wait to visit the region again and use it as our home base once more. Thank you Monsignor Vasco, as we fondly call the owner, for a memorable accomodation. In appreciation, Mario V. from Los Angeles California.

We were greatly warmly greeted by Marco when we arrived and we stayed in one of the suites. There is a beautiful garden and the view of the surrounding was great from the hill where the hotel was situated. Breakfast buffet was most enjoyable. Best of all was Marco exemplary service in spending a lot of time in helping me in contacting TIM help so as to enable me to get the right settings for my TIM prepaid sim card for my cellphone to surf the internet. I wanted to give up but he persevered on. Marco was also fluent in Mandarin and this family-run hotel with deep historical roots is highly recommended for its service, value, location and friendliness.

Our stay was everything we could have hoped for and more. This family owned boutique hotel was just what we wanted. Both Breakfast and dinner was excellent, rooms very nice with great views. Very nice pool to come back to at the end of a touring day. Enchanting gardens. What made it more special for me was that they found my lost piece of jewelry of and expressed mailed it to our next hotel. Wow. Thank you. PVBtravelfriends.

I stayed at this hotel in august and would highly recommend it. The hotel itself is beautiful with stunning views across the tuscan countryside. It is run by as family and although not the best speakers of english they were very attentive and really looked after the guests, even getting the daughter of one family nutella for her toast at breakfast as she didnt like what was previously on offer. The food was very good, only criticism would be that the beds were very hard! Hotel is a little difficult to get to if you are travelling without a car, it is best to get a train to poggibonsi (3 hours from rome, 1 hour from florence) and if you phone the hotel the owner of the hotel will come and pick you up.

The quad Junior suite that we booked (based on other Tripadvisor reviews) exceeded our expectations. The huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub was fabulous after a long day driving around the Tuscan countryside. The patio/terrace restaurant had wonderful cuisine and a wide choice of local wine - not to mention a spectacular view! Our teenagers also enjoyed the garden and pool area - perfect for cooling off after a blistering hot summer day of sightseeing the various hill towns in the area. The staff was amazing - not hesitating to go out of their way to assist us. one night, my husband and I wanted to have a late dinner and our boys wanted just a simple take out pizza in our room. A staff member actually accompanied us to a local pizzeria in the nearby village and helped translate the menu and helped us order! They were also more than happy to provide us with ice for our cooler every day. This hotel is ideal for couples or families and an ideal central location from which to explore the Tuscan countryside ..
