This hotel is handy, but it is not good value for money. We have travelled by bicycle through Italy twice, and this is the probably the most basic hotel we have had, at one of the highest prices we have paid. They even added a 5 Euro charge for parking our bikes - something that has never happened before, in Italy or in any other country. As others have said, the beds, linens and towels are just adequate.
Our room was clean, the view is lovely. Breakfast was adequate and the staff was reasonably pleasant. It would be a reasonable place at 55-60 Euro, not at 80+5!

The hotel is well located at the beginning of the historical part of town. Parking is about 150 meters up hill. The rooms are adequate. There is no elevator so be aware if you don't travel light.

Staff was helpful but not careful. I requested that they book a local restaurant for me, which they agreed to do. When I got to the restaurant it was closed!

While I'm speaking of restaurants, the restaurant affiliated with the hotel is not worth a visit.

We stayed here one night before our walk to Orvieto. While the choice was the walking tour company's I would probably have chosen it myself based upon reviews. The room had a terrific view of the Pitigliano old town and the spectacular walls, particularly at night. The room was clean and of reasonable size. The bathroom was OK but I must agree with other reviewers that the towels are an issue. We did run into the same type in at least one other hotel in Tuscany. Breakfast was OK with the usual continental fare. Wifi was pretty good and reliable.

This hotel is an older style hotel on the main road of Pitigliano. The room was good sized, as was the bathroom. The bathroom had been updated reasonably recently, and the shower had many buttons including options for a sauna. Some people have said they did not like the woven towels, but we found them quite absorbent and quick to dry. We had dinner in the restaurant, and the food was very good. The home made pasta was excellent! The only detract ion here was the noise of passing traffic.

Breakfast selection was limited but adequate. It was sometimes hard to find the staff, but it is a small, family run place. Some areas could use a bit of paint, but otherwise it was fine.

We stayed one night here on a trip across Italy. One night was enough. It is in a good location right next to the old town area. The staff were reasonably helpful although they did seem a bit suspicious of everything that was going on around them. The room was small as was the bathroom and to dry yourself after a shower you had to use what appeared to be tea towels, so it was difficult to get dry. We didn't eat dinner there but did have breakfast and it was good enough, although no fresh fruit. I am not sure of other hotels in the area, but this was alright for the one night we stayed there.
