Fresh, In season, local. It doesn't get any better than this. Menu changes based on what's in the vegetable garden and what's available from local farms.
Typical, delicious Tuscan food in a lovely setting, outside or inside, served by friendly locals (perhaps family?). We had home made Pappardelle (€7) and a Wild Boar Stew (€10) washed down with a Vino Nobile. That was followed by Pecorino from Pienza, just a few kilometres up the road. It was all melt in the mouth delicious and very obviously from the best ingredients.
It's 3km out of Pienza and definitely worth the drive. Don't miss it.
