I have been there with wife and 2 years old daughter and granparents for 4 days the third week of September 2012.
If you think to Tuscany, you probably think to those lovely postcards with country landscape and middle age little town. Those postcards are usually taken there, in Val d'Orcia.
Monica, the host, is a lovely person, very gentle that put you in the perfect mood to relax and live the value of the amazing tuscany people.
Monica gave us a the cottage, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitcken and lounge. the view was on the classic street sourronded by pioppi trees, in the middle of vinyards and grain fields. House very clean and bed very comfortable. Food excellent, all products from Monica's farm. In the farm you will find, "cinta senese" pigs, "chianina" cows, chickens, pigeons, rabbits, ducks and geese.
Overall an amazing place, to relax, walk, trek, ride bicycles, meet people, eat excellent food and drink the best wine in the world.
there are also a swimming pool, fruits trees and bee hives.
We will go back for sure.
