My wife and I really enjoyed the one week at La Capella. The hospitality of the Tinalli family & team was overwhelming, the location (house & garden) was beautiful and it's the ideal destination for day trips to Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and other places.
Not to forget the cooking of the owner - all guest around a table enjoying Italian food style.
Perfect for us!

Having never been to Tuscany or Italy before we were apprehensive about where to stay, what to eat etc. With this fabulous family hotel we shouldn't have worried. Very friendly and helpful, happy to oblige and best of all some of the best food we have ever eaten. No need to go to a restaurant and get another pizza just take what's on offer with the four/five course meal and eat whatever comes. This was home dining but with superb quality and variety. Sage leaves stuffed with cheese and tempura fried - unbelievable. Whatever was served was simple and superb.
The only down point is actually finding the house. Don't trust Sat-navs as they send you to the wrong place.

I travelled with my wife and 10 month old. We loved the property, the family that runs it (led by Patrizio). Its a fantastic find and if you're in Tuscany, do consider staying here. You will not be disappointed.

I found "Villa La Cappella" by chance on the internet and from the moment we arrive we were made to feel totally welcome and at home by the fantastic staff.

I would truly love to recommend this Villa to as many people as a can as I have to say that this has to be one of the very best holiday I have ever had.

The location of the Villa was only a kilometres away from the locally town and only a few kilometres away from Florence, Sienna and many other fantastically charming Medieval towns and villages.

We have to say that the service we received for the whole of our stay at Villa La Cappella was fantastic, from the fine wine, to the wonderful locally sourced Italian food we were serviced every night for dinner and the locally knowledge from the staff made the whole experience un-forgettable.

The villa is set is the most amazing grounds, with wonderful views across the Tuscany landscape, and the hightlight of these views was when the hotel manager, -(who is also a balloon pilot) took us up in his hot air balloon, which made this the best holiday we have ever had anywhere in the world.

We would strongly recommend that you speak to the staff at the hotel before you decide on booking a holiday anywhere in Italy.

My wife and I were charmed by Patizio and Diana at Villa la Cappella, where we spent our 40 wedding anniversary in November 2009. The hotel is exquisite, our host was gracious, and the setting was classic Tuscany. We were treated to an all-day tour of the region in Patrizio's Benz convertible on a breezy sunny day. It was a memorable stay and we are truly grateful. Jim & Jamie Crowne

We spent wonderful days in Villa la Cappella as everyone was always obliging to our needs. The suite was fine for our needs and a full equipped kitchen/dining room was available (shared with one other room).
Patrizio and his team always had good hints for routes, dining and shopping aside of the motorways (including the best ice cream in town - important for your kids :-) ). For our 1.5 year old everything had been done including seperate meals when asked for. The food in general was great. Four course dinner always was typical for Toscany cuisine and differed everday including regional ingredients. Prices for wine and other drinks were reasonable.
The hotel grounds are spacious - but not to big for our kid to get lost/out of sight. The pool is well-sized but not heated. The space might be too small when all guests stay there at the same time.
Overall it have been memorable days in Toscany where we stayed like in family. Whenever back in the region we would love to return.
