“Chilled out in Chianti”
Reviewed October 16, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Spent 2 amazing weeks in Cottage Murlo, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners Adela and Marzio (plus their 2 dogs Nelson and Bounty) were very warm and friendly, and more than happy to offer advice should you need it. Marzio offers a Tuscan BBQ night for the guests, there is no pressure to attend, but we found it a great opportunity to drink Chianti and mix with other guests, Marzio is an excellent cook and entertaining host. The accommodation is surrounded by stunning, peaceful countryside, and perfectly located for Florence, Sienna and Pisa, plus a number of hilltop villages. We attended Andrea Bocelli's annual outdoor concert in his hometown of Lajatico at the Teatro del Silenzio, which was an experience not to be missed. We most definitely hope to return to Cellole next year.

“Incredible Stay - Incredible history - Perfect location in Tuscany”
Reviewed May 26, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This is a great location to experience the beauty of Tuscany. People interested in history find this place even more interesting and mystical. Check out the history on their website. Owners did an incredible job restoring the beauty of this place. The entire family lives on site , so it so convenient to seek their advise. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and for us it felt like we were with family. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family members. We loved our 5 day stay. Tuscany is my favorite place in Italy!!!!

“Idyllic Setting and Accomodation”

Recently traveled to Italy for the first time with my wife. We chose to stay in this accommodation after searching for many this looked the nicest. We were certainly not disappointed.

This beautiful property is set in the middle of the roving Tuscan landscape. The owner Adella is a wonderful host who is extremely helpful and welcoming, we stayed for 11 days and had the most relaxing time possible. Adella (& her husband Mauro) were there if we needed them but otherwise we were left alone to enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Location wise it is ideal if you are looking to visit other parts of Tuscany - we took day trips to Florence, Sienna, Volterra & San Gimignango. All within a reasonable drive and easy to park and find etc.

Anyone looking for peace, beauty and general 'good living' would not go far wrong to book here.

“Beautiful villa steeped in history, set in evocative and breathtaking landscape”
Reviewed August 15, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We have had a wonderful relaxing holiday at S. Andrea a Cellole Murlo. It was lovely to sit in the beautiful garden with a glass of wine taking in the panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside - olive groves, lush vineyards and undulating paths lined with Pencil Cyprus trees - complete bliss.........

The villa was rustic, atmospheric and steeped in history. Adela and Mauro ensure that their guests are comfortable, and are very knowledgeable of the interesting places and best restaurants to visit in the area. We did not want to go home..........

“Peace, quiet, great views, cosy cottage, great pool - top destination!”
Reviewed July 21, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This place is HEAVEN: peace and quiet, beautiful domain, property, garden, pool, ... Adela's house is at the end of a dead end street, no neighbours. The most beautiful views over the Tuscan hills. The cottage provides everything you need. Practical and clean. Perfect wifi, even in the garden on your private terrace. The two dogs Bounty and Nelson made our stay even better (but Adela will keep them away from you if you're not too fond of animals:)). Adela is such a great host: crystal clear communication, friendly, helpful, always ready to give the best tips and tricks, full of British humor, always up for a chat, but at the same time very discrete and respectful. We've done already quite a few airbnb's, and this one is our nr 1. ---- TOP DESTINATION ----
