We only had time for a quick lunch on the way back to the airport. We decided to eat outside despite the boiling temperature because the sea view was worth it! We choose starters and dessert, together with a glass of refreshing Vernaccia. The raw fish tartare were amazing and the chef's finger food really delicious. We will certainly come back for a proper meal!

Perhaps on account of the cold and windy night, but the four of us where disapponted, generally speaking,
Food and service seemed a little ... tired, while prices still prooved to be dynamic.......
Will give it another chance when weather gets better this spring, and get back to you then

While in Livorno, my wife was doing some quick research and found this gem mentioned in the Michelin Guide. There are a number of places along Marina Di Pisa that have honourable mentions [fork-ratings] and Foresta was one of them.
The drive to Foresta is away from the Livorno Port area. It is more of a residential area with beach facing properties. Even the main square in this area looks like it's from the 1960s.
We were at Foresta for lunch and we tried their Degustation menu. The food was plentiful and the quality and plating exquisite. We really enjoyed ourselves and just let the good conversation flow with the wine.
Service was warm and friendly. We were served by the owners of the restaurant. Loved the Foresta experience and will come back again if ever in Livorno!

I was invited for a business lunch by a local business associate.
The restaurant is located just on the beach, which offeres the proper "marine" ambiance for the veriaty of fish and seafood offered in the menu
We ordered raw seafood plate as well as seafood "tappas" plate, and both dishes were very well prepared and served.
The main dish was based on a local fish (which we were requested to select from several options presented by the waitress on a tray) and it was also pretty good but not very unique in taste.
The dolce dishes were surprisingly good, semifredo as well as some kind of profiterol which I can not recal the name.
Service was very kind and efficient. Toilets are clean and seem very well kept.
Very good experience.
