Just returned from a relaxing week at Iesolana. Superbly furnished self catering appartments, with the ability to eat in the restaurant and have breakfast there if you wish. Very friendly staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere but of the highest quality.

Tucked away in the surrounding hills in a peacefull location with stuniing views all around - ive put a few pictures up also.

90 mins from Pisa airport

After negotiating a very bumpy track, and annoying traffic lights you arrive at a haven on a hill. The estate is immaculate reflecting the owners very high standards.

We stayed in Loggiato, and were initially disappointed as even after extensive research,I hadn't worked out our apartment would be upstairs with no immediate outside access to our private patio. Our patio although relatively private was a 30 yard detour around the end of the building in front of the restaurant .(Not conducive to carrying food around to eat there)

Internally the apartment was very spacious and cool .The beds were massive and comfortable with nice linen ,with two bathrooms both modern and clean with big fluffy towelsThe kitchen unfortunately had no kettle which I found annoying.
There is no iron or board in the apartment but facilities are available at the entrance to the restaurant.
You are required to book for dinner on the morning of the day you want to eat ,this is not obvious from the website. We ate there twice, the food was pleasant but not outstanding. The "wine bar" has a very limited range of local wine.

To summarise ,if you are looking for an aparthotel this is a beautiful place to stay with amazing sunsets and views and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there apart for a few points that could be improved on.

I have nothing but positive feedback regarding our stay. It's a stunning place in a stunning location amongst the olive groves, the vineyards and the rolling hills, the grounds are immaculate, the pool areas are fab and very clean and modern, we particularly liked having our own cabana which is something ive never experienced elsewhere in Tuscany, so no rushing for sunbeds! We stayed in the Taina Apartment which had a fantastic terrace and view of the hills, we got to see hares and deers making it all the more special. It's a quiet, tranquil place so very relaxing and at night is deadly quiet so sleep quality is the best! We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, all the food is locally sourced, fresh and delicious together with great wine! It's a family run place and everything is just the way they want it, they are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again, you won't be disappointed.....

What a beautiful place set up on a hill with olive groves, vineyards and breathtaking views. Francesco and Louise made our stay wonderful in this place about equal distance to Arezzo and Siena. Very modern interior, and newly decorated apartments with great beds, bathrooms and kitchens.
We would definitely recommend coming in warmer weather to enjoy the 2 pools and restaurant that would be open in high season.
I hope we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Borgo Iesolana. Louise, Linda and Lorenzo are a great trio and together they ensured we were well organised, fed and relaxed!
The hiking and running trails were a great start to each day, afternoon by the pool and supper in the restaurant made for a great holiday. The location and views are simply stunning.
The apartments were a welcome quiet retreat at the end of a long day sightseeing and driving.
We stayed on Cipressi and Belvedere, can recommend both, although we preferred Cipressi.
The cooking course was great fun and Lorenzo was a great teacher. We came away with almost of recipes, tips and a fab lunch together.
Thank you team Borgo Iesolana!

Room Tip: The ground floor villa's appealed to us for ease of outdoor entertaining.

My husband and I returned to Tuscany for this years annual holiday. We are fans of Iesolana having been previous visitors and we once again were not disappointed. We stayed in Portico a one bedroomed appartment which is well furnished with a beautiful private covered terrace which was our reason for selecting this appartment.
Il Portico was very clean and well furnished and we had a really comfortable stay.
Since our last visit, a second swimming pool has opened giving holiday makers the choice of 2 beautifully maintained pools with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. Each appartment has a private gazebo by the pool complete with deckchairs, sunbeds and some welcome shade.
The onsite wine bar gives guests the option of having breakfast, lunch or evening meals or just a cold drink or a coffee. The chef provides well cooked meals using lovely local produce, well worth a try! All the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful and keep the venue and grounds in beautiful condition. We feel like old friends when we return.
Surrounded by the stunning landscape, beautiful gardens and peaceful remote location, you can't ask for a nicer place to stay. When the 2 weeks ended it was with a heavy heart we left. As we drove down the track to head back towards Pisa and our flight home we were already talking of next year and a possible return....

Room Tip: All appartments are beautiful but if you are a couple, Il Portico has a wonderful private covered te...

This was our first visit to Iesolana and we were not disappointed. It is set in wonderful country-side, close enough to 'civilisation' for basic needs but far enough to escape to perfect peace with just the sounds of the wind in the trees and the birds singing.
We had been 'upgraded' to a two bedroom apartment which was clean, well furnished and very comfy. The restaurant was only just getting going but we did have one breakfast and one evening meal. The food was good but we felt breakfast was overpriced for what was a basic 'continental'.
The grounds are beautiful with plenty of walks, two pools and lots of places to enjoy the sun. It seemed that most of the other apartments were occupied but it never felt full, busy or noisy. The owners are very specific in their requests that guests respect the peace and quiet and we felt that was being listened to.
Louise and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble.
We would certainly recommend this if you want somewhere tranquil, with no nightlife in a beautiful setting.

Room Tip: Depends on what you need - read their descriptions, they all seemed good to us.
