It's a small but beautiful beach with two caves next to it. However I found it unpleasant to swim here as a few metres away the wild pigs manure are everywhere and have surely contaminated the water. Expect also to see the wild pigs around.

Not a secret beach - the images showing a deserted beach must be from winter time!
But the water is clear, the caves interesting. Posible to stay in he sun or in the shade from the cliffs. Take the boat trip, then it is easy to get there. It is worth the visit.

We walked there and caught a boat back. My family and I (wife + boys 11 and 9) drove to Cala Fuili (turning right at the bottom of the mountain road down from the SS125 towards Cala Ganone). You can park at the end of the road at Cala Fuili - but beware as we went in late August and it was v busy with Italian holidaymakers. If you decide to walk you'll see a direction marker when you get to the foot of the steps down from the road. The walk is a good 2 hours at an average pace so take plenty of water if its hot and suitable footwear - not flip flops! There is a bit of climbing up and down steep passages in parts. If you're not use to long walks then beware...The children and my wife who are all relatively fit were glad to get there and relieved that there was an opportunity to buy a boat ticket to get back (every hour with the last leaving at 6:30pm at 10 Euro per adult and I think 5 Euro each for the kids). There is a restaurant which was nice to see and a welcome stop. The beach is wonderful - not the best I've been to in the world - but worth the visit. As said in other reviews, the crowds do spoil it, so in the height of summer it may have been better to get the boat there later, stay until late when most have departed back, then have a walk back to Cala Fuili once the crowds have gone. If you fancy a good day out and are active people, then do the walk as the arrival rewards the effort. If you do get the boat back and have parked at Cala Fuili, don't panic when the boat docks in Cala Ganone as there is a free taxi (well a scruffy bloke in a battered blue fiat punto) who will take the driver from the ticket office to your car in Cala Fuili. All you have to do then is drive back and pick up whoever is left waiting. Hope that helps.

One of the largest beaches close to Cala Gonone. Must visit beach, especially if you come with a boat from the harbor. There are some cold caves that are interesting. Dont go to deep! :)

Now there is no getting away from the fact this is a truly beautiful location. While I was expecting it to be busier than the tourist photos suggested I didn't realise quite how popular this location is (in July at least). I will hopefully come back sometime but will either hike out to it at sunrise or go off season.
