My wife and I stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of friends who had already been there twice.
We travelled with Citalia and the arrangements went smoothly. We were met at the airport and transported in comfort to the hotel about 30 minutes drive away from the airport.
The hotel itself was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. First class service and always a cheerful 'bon giorno' from everyone - including the gardeners. If I were to be a bit 'picky', the bed was a bit firm for my taste and also the pillows were an awkward size - too thin for 1 pillow and too thick for 2. It would have been nicer if there could have been a kettle in the room for the odd cup of tea or coffee but this is just a small niggle.
The pool area was lovely with a marvellous view over the bay in Baia Sardinia. The pool itself was well looked after and always plenty of loungers to be had. The pool water is salt water which surprised me but did not detract from the enjoyment. The water was a bit cold for late May but this is the fault of the weather alone.
The hotel has a small part of the main beach as a private area which opened on 1st June. Again, plenty of loungers even there were the usual culprits getting down early to reserve the front row! The sea was also quite chilly but the water was amazingly clear.
Finally, the food! We booked half board but were given complimentary lunches. All the food was fantastic - plenty of quantity and excellent quality. Very helpful and knowledgeable waiters and wine waiters. Make sure you take clothes that have plenty of 'give' in them.
The drinks were a bit expensive - around €30 minimum for a bottle of wine with dinner and also we were charged €4.50 per bottle of water with lunch and dinner. We stayed for 14 days and the drinks bill at the end of this time was a bit eye-watering. There is a supermarket around 10 minutes walk away and keeping a few bottles in the room made it a bit cheaper.
Overall, a wonderful holiday. I would definitely want to return there again but probably for 7-10 days instead of the 2 weeks.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Residence rather than the main hotel. I understand that the rooms in the residence...

A wonderful stay . Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Location ideal for beach and sunsets. Very clean, plenty of sun loungers both around the pool and in the gardens as well as on the beach and provision of beach towels is great.

Great hotel, fab food and wonderful staff.
We travelled with Citalia and were met at airport by taxi and delivered to this great hotel. We had a spacious room in the annexe, comfy beds , a seating area with sofa,a large bathroom all spotless. We had a small terrace with table and chairs. The grounds and gardens are very pretty and plenty of beds around. The pool area is kept immaculate and there is a useful snack bar.
The food is served on a pretty candle lit terrace and the food is fab, plenty of choice. The staff are very friendly always with a smile and a chat.
Definately go back.

Room Tip: Rooms in the residencia are probably larger than hotel rooms and have pretty gardens.

From the moment we were met at the airport until we were dropped off there two weeks later the service we received was very good. We were accommodated in the residences, not in the main hotel building. This was very spacious with a lounge area, sleeping area, dressing room, large double bathroom and shower room. The balcony caught the sun late in the day. The standard of housekeeping was very good. The quality of the food was exceptional, we particularly enjoyed lunch and the service in the restaurant matched the food. The pool area was very well cared for by the pool supervisor and the view from there was delightful. There were also loungers on the beach and in the gardens. The gardens also incorporated small sandy bays. There is a free WiFi area around reception.

Room Tip: The residences are spacious and quiet.

The hotel is located in a smal but beautiful bay. The hotel is relatively small and there are 2 bars and only one restaurant. The hotel is very popular with Italians, Germans and English people.

Food

For breakfast you have the same things every day including juices (not freshly squeezed), assortment of pastries, excellent donuts, sausages, grilled aubergines and tomatoes.

For lunch you order one dish a-la carte menu and have a big selection of appetizers and pasta (mussels, 2 types of nice pasta, hamon with melon, olives, cheeses and salad bar. Everything that I tried there is really exquisite and cooked very well.

Dinner is a ritual there. You have a 3-course supper plus dessert a-la-carte.
The restaurant has surprised me as everything was delicious and in my opinion, they do best risotto, paella, meat, sword-fish, duck, roasbeef, etc.

I do recommend try their ice-cream, milan based company Bindi provides the hotel with their assortment. This was the best ice-cream I've ever tried. Try for sure pistacho, hazelnut, vanilla and chocolate. I even try to find Bindi ice-cream in London as I really love its taste.
The other thing as I don't like salty food, their food was a bit salty for me. I don't think it will bother other people.

As this is not all-inclusive hotel, prepare to pay the bill for water as well as alcohol like wine and cocktails.

Bars - Baristas do lovely cocktails. My favourite is Pina Colada and it was the best Pina Colado in fact. When you order a cocktail you also receive a bowl with nuts together with some snacks.

The beach

The first-line sun beds are always reserved for those who live in suites, bigger rooms. Even in august there were a couple of sunbeds available. THe water is quite clean. Apart from the main beach in the bay, you can go to 2 secret beaches located on the hilll. be careful no to step on a sea urchin. The small beaches do have sunbeds but don't have a safeguard, so be carefull.

The current is not very strong and it is safe for children. There were a few couples with toddlers and I think the food must be good for small kids as well.

you can hire pedal boat for 20 Euro for an hour, which is a good price.

Things to see near the hotel
on the top of the hill from the hotel you can see some houses. This is an old military base. If you are brave enough you can have a look. In that case be sure to wear jeans and sneakers. From the top of the hill you could see Port Rafael and Porto Cervo.

we went only for one-day trip on Giomar yacht, bought at reception (105 Euro), with 10 people on the board. If you go, you can take a champagne and wine as well as some snacks, as for lunch you will get only pasta, cheeses, olives, tomatoes and fruits.

The staff is very polite and not annoying. My hubby had a BD and they kindly baked a delicious cake for us and gave us two glasses of dessert wine. on the whole trip was great and was the best holiday ever.

The hotel is not noisy and has that atmosphere for people who wants to relax. I would definetely want to come back here.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor in the middle of the building have sea view. ours was 219, half sea view...

Struggling to find any faults with this hotel. Once they knew there was a vegetarian in the group they couldn't do enough to provide good veggie food and choice. Restaurant staff attentive and obliging. Hotel clean, lovely pool, beach with sunbeds only a short stroll away. Great restful holiday in perfect surroundings
