We stayed 1 week at the B&B Villa Luna with our family. Nice house with a great view. Every day a different cake for breakfast made by Cristina, very tastful. The B&B is run with care and has eye for detail (eg. radio at swimming pool).
We would recommend this to everyone, from a couple to a family.

Keep up the good work, Cristina & co !

After driving at night in unfinished stip curves we arrived to Cristina's house. Right from the start we knew we were lucky. The warm hospitallity and the perfect facilities make our long day seems very relaxing. The breakfast was stuning, homemade cakes, fresh juices, the lake views and the espresso machine... heaven. In the eavnings we fix ourself a nice dinner using the kitchen well kept facilities. We stayed at Cristina 4 nights and it was the pick of our accommodations during our trip to Italy. The children loved it !!!

Thanks for a lovely vacation in Garda lake

We stayed here August/September 2012 for 7 nights. We stayed in the Lilac Room (the best with views of the lake).
Accommodation: The facilities for this B&B were just perfect! The room had everything - TV (not that you need one!), sofa, large bathroom, view of the lake when you wake up, a kitchen area, your own fridge in the Lilac Room, communal fridge, cooking facilities, inside and outside eating area, large pool, sun area, parking area...
Breakfast: As with other places in Italy - meats, cheeses, cakes, fruit, cereals, breads, jams, eggs - it has it all...
Location: Salo we think was the best location to be in for exploring both Lake Garda and surrounding areas. Salo has a great market on a Saturday, a supermarket if you want to do your own cooking and lovely places to eat. It is up the top of the mountain - but if you go to the website - those really are the views! Just stunning!
Cristina was able to show us maps and books (to help with day trips to Verona and Venice) though plan your details before you come as our Italian was not so good and communicating the finer details of where to go is something we had to figure out for ourselves.
We did visit every town around the lake (Sirmione being the fav!) and boat trips, markets, visiting inside the churches were highlights. We did long day trips to Venice and Verona (plan where to go to park etc before you go ideally!)...
The BEST part was the B&B itself. The kitchen set up and our room were just FANTASTIC! The freedom to sit and eat while looking over the lake were second to none. Though we ate out - the advice was to eat out at lunch and enjoy much more for your money - then we would have something at the B&B in the evenings...
Cristina was very friendly and the rooms were clean, kept clean and to a high standard. The pool was just refreshing though you need your own towels or you can rent some from her.
We will be back and we'd only stay at Villa Luna Salo as it was just the best B&B set up we've ever been to! We'd only stay in the Lilac Room as the views were the best and it was a quiet and private location.
Thank you Cristina for being very friendly.

Room Tip: Lilac Room has a double fronted view of the lake. It has a large en-suite and a sofa. It was our fav...

We stayed in the lilac room in August and had a wonderful holiday. Myself and my husband were travelling with 2 small children aged 4 yrs old and 9 months. The room was lovely and we were well equipped with a fold out bed and cot. The bathroom was very modern and spacious. The communal kitchen area was great for enjoying a little extra space and for having the odd meal in. The views from the property are spectacular.

The host cristina and her family were very friendly and hospitable. They gave us lots of invaluable advise on the local area and attractions. Our daughter loved playing with Cristina's children and they were very kind to her. We also really appreciated the little extra touches such as the little toys on her breakfast place setting. The breakfast was lovely with different tasty pastries to try each day.

The pool area was lovely and the pool water spotlessly clean.

Salo itself is a lovely town and proved to be a good base to explore the lake from. We'd highly recommend hiring a boat for a day as this was one of our favourite excursions.

We hope to be back soon!

If what you're looking for is a very family friendly place where your children can play in the pool with the hosts' children, and with stunning views over the lake, then is the place for you. Cristina, and her family, are delightful. The breakfasts are very good, with home cooked pastries. The feel of the place is highly relaxed, if you enjoy sociable environments. I highly recommend it. A small reservation would be for people who have a lot of fear of heights (as does someone in my family), who might find the drive up the mountain from the lake side a bit challenging.

We were presently surprised at what a lovely accomodation we had. We were two families with 4 children between us aged 18months- 5 years. The location has a fantastic view and was easy to reach by car. The owners were very accommodating and helpful and you felt as if you were part of the family, such ease.
The breakfast was plentiful and Christina the owner presented new Pasteries each morning which were just too yummy. Nespresso coffee too! If something wasn't there or you wanted something specific they were very obliged to organise it.
The accomodation was perfect for our situation as we had rented all three rooms. I'm not sure if I would stay there if I was only renting one room as then it would be too close together for me.
My mother who joined us ended up with a cold effecting her lungs and as no doctors were contactable, Christina was helpful, due to being a trained nurse in
her past life, what service! What luck!
Cleanliness was spot on.
Restaurant tips spot on.
Pool spot on.
Kitchen although well decked out needed a few things which felt were missing, like some wine glasses ( italians love their water glasses) and cutting knives for cooking in the kitchen. Christina was very open to suggestions.
Thanks for a great stay, if we're in the area again we'd definitely stay again.
Charming!
