The hosts were very kind and friendly and went out of their way to help us. The property was charming, lovely sound of water and we enjoyed the outside space to eat. The kitchen area was also very attractive. We were surprised that there were 2 bedrooms in the b&b as only one was shown on the photos online. We had chosen it on the basis of the main bedroom and were disappointed to be given an attic room in which we could only stand in half of it - around the head end of the bed. It took quite a lot of effort to ensure we didn't bang our heads. The room was very clean and pleasant with a decent bathroom but we found the heat at night almost intolerable. There was not enough air in the room and it didn't seem to be insulated well enough to prevent it from overheating. Interestingly the downstairs of the house was very cool.
We found the self service breakfast adequate but nothing very exciting and rather utilitarian pastries which had long life dates on them.
We enjoyed the garden of the b&b most and the fact that it was quieter than a large hotel. We found not sleeping well at night due to being too hot rather took the pleasure away from what is really a very attractive place.
