This was our third year at this hotel. We took two rooms for 12 days. The quality and service was even better than in the past and I give a 5 points assessment. First of all the value is great considering the breakfast, swimming pool, A/C and position (cool weather in the hot summer). Second the family owners are very kind and friendly. Third, the quality of breakfast is great with fresh fruit and home made yogurt and jams. Lastly, there is a very convenient indoor parking that is great if you drive a car. We will definitely come back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sant'Agata.
Staff is extremely friendly, the hotel is very well maintained, lovely pool, nicely decorated and clean room with airco. Breakfast is well taken care of with great homemade pastries. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel's restaurant at great prices. You can have snacks near the pool.
Location is great too! Just some metres from the lovely center of Sant'Agata with nice bars & restaurants. About 4km on foot from the center of Sorrento and good connections to visit the Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Pompei, Napoli, Capri, etc. The staff is very helpful in informing you about excursions & transportation. I would certainly recommend the hotel. We enjoyed our 5 nights at Hotel Sant'Agata!

We stayed in San'agata after a trip coming from the North, it was a really nice and relaxed place to stay for the last days of our holidays. The staff is kind and helpful. They advised us some beautiful beaches in the neighbourhood and also some restaurants which were all very good! The hotel itself has nice rooms, very clean and a nice and quiet pool as well.

Having stayed at the hotel sant agata we can highly recommend it. The owners and staff go out of their way to make your visit special. Lovely swimming pool with bar to order snacks and drinks and an excellent restaurant if you want a meal at lunch and dinner. The village of sant agata has got a number of good restaurants and is just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns, but still in a good position to visit all the main sites of the region. On our next visit we will use this hotel again.

Stayed here for 10 days and had a great holiday. Good base to then visit other areas of the Amalfi Coast. On our more lazy days we could nip down to Sorrento (20 mins by bus) or just enjoy the swimming pool. Staff were very lovely and helpful, they would do there their best to make it as enjoyable as possible. A Very pleasant stay in a family run hotel.

We stayed here for three days. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was adequate with mini-bar and air conditioning. The bathroom was adequate but small. The shower was also small but adequate. The bathroom was very clean as well. The rooms only have air conditioning during July and August. If you are driving to the hotel there is a garage to park your car, but you should make a reservation for a parking spot. This is a good location. Positano is about 10-15Km by car. Sorrento is 7-10Km by car. Breakfast was very good. The only caution I would make is to make sure of the prices of food or fruit that you pay to eat at poolside. The summer salad was reasonable, but the price charged for a slice of watermelon was OUTRAGEOUS. So buyer beware! The pool is small but very welcome during the hot days of summer.

We stayed here for 4 days. I thought it was too long. I don't know how people stay for 14 nights. Nothing against the hotel but I don't think there is enough things to do around Sorrento to stay for that long. It is definitely worth paying the extra money for the "blue" rooms although the mattresses aren't that comfortable. After reading other reviews, I would say the breakfast was great, excellent wait staff, the internet was perfect, but I did run into a problem with the "stingy aircon" although as soon as I contacted the front desk, they turned it back on. It is close to town, with a great restaurant just to the left of the hotel across from the supermarket. We did take a pizza class at Fattoria TerraNova which was great fun. If they had offered more cooking classes while we were in town, we would have done them as well. I choose this hotel for the nice pool and as decent as the stay was, I think next time I would try another hotel with a view of the sea, whether it be from the lobby or the room.
