What a great hotel. The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful, the girls on reception couldn't do enough to help and were always smiling. The room was great, you will never find a better view, looking out over the bay of Naples with Mount Vesuvius in the background. Food was really good and I can't imagine anyone not finding something they like at every mealtime. The only disappointment was no coffee after our evening meal, plenty at breakfast but none after dinner. There is a lovely pool, not huge but ample. There is a shuttle which takes you down to Sorrento and fetches you back several times a day but it is important to book. If you miss it or it is full there is a vus stop outside the gate which runs regularly, you must buy a ticket from reception or from a tobacconist shop before you get on.
The area is wonderful, we went to Pompeii, Capri, the Amalfi Coast and Herculaneum while we were there as well as a show at the Theatre Tasso which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is a travel pass called an Arte Carde which you can buy at the station which gives you free transport on the buses and Vesuvian railway for 3 days and includes entry to 2 sites for 27 euros, we used it to go to Pompeii & Herculaneum. Altogether a brilliant holiday

Positive: in walking distance to the small village Santa Agata Due Golfi to buy some drinks & limoncello - friendly English speaking staff - food is nice - the fresh orange juice in the morning is exellent - free shuttle service - minibar - good silent airco - clean towels every day

Negative: no dining experience as you have to eat very quickly one course after the other which is normal for Italians but not for other Europeans - at breakfast very limited choice, no eggs that can be ordered, the cheese is tastless (where is the mozzarella ?) - if you're planning to do a lot of excursions you loose a lot of time with the transfers down to Sorrento and the travel agencies charge you extra (at least 10€/person) - agressive mosquitos at the pool which is too small for a 4* hotel (they should renovate this whole area by removing the tennis court and build a nice pool area with dining tables for the hot evenings).

the staff and hotel were fab. location was 15 minute drive from sorrento, however the shuttle bus is regular and free to use. food was different everyday and a choice of 3 starters, mains and 2 desserts gave you plenty of choice. Staff are very helpful and cant do enough for you, praise goes to Lugli, the Breakfast and dinner staff, very friendly.
rooms very spacious and decor modern and well maintained.
could not fault this holiday at all and would go back.

This hotel is in a great position, a short drive up Via Nastro Verde from Sorrento with fantastic views across Sorrento & the Bay of Naples to Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
The welcome was extremely friendly and the check-in quick. In fact the front desk staff were great with Amelia a standout!
Our room was on the ground floor on the Western side so we had no view of the Bay but that did not detract from our impression of the place.
Car parking is just across the road in a secure carpark. (We had a car)
Our room was modern and fully equipped and the bed comfortable.
The pool area is a bit constricted but we were able to get sun lounges and cool off in the pool.
The other charm of the place is the village of Sant Agata just walking distance away. Take the 10 minute walk. It's worth it!

we stayed here on our honeymoon and the hotel was part of a package deal. we were very pleased with the hotel, it was modern and clean, the rooms were standard size hotel rooms and very nicely appointed and kept very clean by the friendly cleaning staff. reception was manned 24 hours and they were always helpful and efficient.
we stayed half board and found the food and service was also good.
the hotel runs a complimentary bus service into sorrento, but it does get booked up at the popular times, although the local buses are cheap and stop outside the hotel also.
my reccomendation would be to pay a bit extra for a sea view as this hotel has fantastic views accross sorrento and the bay of naples to mount vesuvius.
