Description: Kilometer zero Restaurant The definition of KM zero is using and consuming food from the area of production Our farmhouse restaurant has always had this philosophy, that is, what is produced in our region (an area famous for wine and food ) becomes the foundation of our menu . By respecting the seasonality of our products we can ensure the freshness and quality of our ingredients . We put effort into promoting the local produce that tells a story about our surrounding territory without ignoring the excellent products that Italy is so famous for.

We came to Fattoria Terranova for a cooking class and lunch with our extended family grandparents, parents and 2 children ages 9 and 11. Our experience here beat our expectations. When we arrived there was food layer out for us (muffins, delicious cookies, fruit and juice). We were made fresh mozzarella with Francesca (the owner) and her assistant Maria. Then of course--the sampling! Now on to pizza where we made our own dough and flattened out the pre made version. We then assembled the pizza and it was placed in the roaring wood fire oven. We were then seated and ate our pizza long with a huge spread of food including the most enjoyable pickled fish. We then were given a walking tour of the farm and limoncello/food packaging facilities--and more samples!
Spending the day at this farm was one of the most memorable of our days spent in Italy. I would highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys cooking or eating.

After hearing about Fattoria Terranova from a friend, I would definitely reccommend this for a good day out.
To get to Sant A'gata is a bit of a mission (we tried to get a bus and because of the school run, we ended up missing them) but once there the owners collected us from the bus stop and made as feel at home straight away.

The food was incredible, and because they use the local produce that they grow on the farm, the quality of the food is excellent.

We had their house wine which is also made on the farm and was lovely.

We werent able to make our lunch booking as we missed the buses, and went for dinner but I would reccommend it for a lunch and a whole day out. You will be less rushed, be able to enjoy your meal slowly (its 4 + courses) and wont feel worried about how to get back to where you are staying.

Also, go on an empty stomach! It is worth it!

I was recently on the Amalfi coast for a week-long vacation. We stayed at Fattoria Terranova for 3 nights and ate lunch and/or dinner there every day. It was absolutely the best food I have ever had in my life. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was amazing: it was a small restaurant in a wooden building with beautiful flowers, plants, and vegetables everywhere. It was a very homey atmosphere and a wonderful place to have a meal. There were no menus, which we loved. The owners would come to your table before each course, give you suggestions, and tell you what the food was for that course for the day. We ate so much food and were so amazed at how delicious everything was. We were actually really upset to leave at the end of our 3 days and did not have a better meal anywhere else the entire trip.

We also took a cooking class at the restaurant there. It was just the 4 of us and was such a great day. They taught us how to make so many great dishes and then we got to eat all of it! It was spectacular.

If I could give 100 stars, I would.

We came here on the last night of a trip to Italy. Having encountered their stall at the Priora grape festival, and visited the Fattoria Terranova shop in Sorrento, we thought we were in for a good meal. By the time we left, I felt that we'd been seriously misled by the staff in the Fattoria Terranova shop and ripped off by the manager of the restaurant...

When booking our table at the shop, we were shown a sample menu for 40-45 euros per head, with a selection of antipasto, pasta, main courses and pudding with house wine. We were told that it was not an expensive place and often frequented by locals. Things would only be more expensive if we ate or drank more than normal...

The truth was very different. It was a giant barn of a place that appeared to cater for large tour groups or wedding parties. We were the only people there and the atmosphere was non-existant. There is no menu and no price list. The manager said he's bring us a selection of antipasto and pasta to share. What arrived was an offensively large quantity of food, which while tasty, was mostly wasted. There was simply far too much (and we're good eaters!). We didn't even order a main course as we were absolutely stuffed. The seven of us drank two bottles of house wine (available for 5 euros/bottle in the Sorrento shop).

Having eaten/drank a fraction of what was described on the sample menu at the shop, we were horrified to be presented with a bill for almost 300 euros. This was way in excess of what was discussed and outrageously expensive compared with other local restaurants, given the fact that we drank very little and didn't have a main course.

We genuinely felt ripped-off. I would steer well clear of this place, unless you are absolutely clear that you know exactly what you are paying for.
