This was out fourth time in Sant'Agata and on each of our visits we make sure we have time to visit Mimo and Dora, the owners, at least once during our stay. The food is outstanding and very fairly priced. The service is also top notch with a lot of personal attention by Mimo. At our last dinner visit we put ourselves in Mimo's hands and he truly outdid himself. We started with a variety of antipasti that were all delicious (the zucchini flowers, when is season, are AMAZING!). The pasta course was expertly prepared and presented as was the secondi. The pasta course was a house made ravioli stuffed with fresh ricotta and buffalo mozzarella. The secondi was an excellent piece of beef, preapred Genovese style. Finally, a great dessert and after dinner drinks. One thing to note is that Mimo is expert at wine, particularly wines of the Campania region. Ask him to select a wine for your dinner and you will assuredly get an excellent selection, both in terms of quality and price. In our case, he selected a locally produced taurasi that was exceptional. This place is the real deal and a "must go" when in the Sorrento area.
