“Best Beer and Pizza's in St Agata”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

My wife and I only tried this place twice for lunch, which was a shame. An unpretentious little restaurant, offering great freshly homemade pizzas, cooked a wood burning oven that are very reasonably priced and the beers served in glass's that are stored in a freezer, making them extra cold and refreshing. The owner and staff are very welcoming, helpful and polite. Recommend you pay this place a visit as it was the cheapest and best lunch we had in St Agata.

“This was a lovely place to relax”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

This is a small Pizzeria mainly outdoors and has no pretensions to be a posh restaurant. Their range of food is limited to popular Italian favourites. I note that some unkind person has given a shocking review "Thieves" as they appear to have parked their car in this restaurant's private space and then gone to another restaurant!! Perhaps it should be made clear to these people that it ISN'T a carpark for one and all!
I can honestly say that all our food was freshly cooked and delicious. I had their spaghetti and zucchini two lunch times on the run as it was just so perfect! And his pizzas are lovely. Don't know where this 'microwave' stuff came from in other reviews: the chef is there and he's not the sort to use a microwave.
Like all pizzerias in little villages the service is relaxed: if you're in a rush go to Macdonalds!
Giorgio, the owner, is a lovely happy helpful man (even if he does object to people parking on his property for free!!)
Looking forward to going again - pizza, jug of local wine, sun and relaxation - what is a holiday all about?
