“Wonderful Irish couple”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

My son and I stayed in the pink room around September 25 for 3 nights. Ann and Marc were both so friendly and helpful, and the meals were great. I needed a little extra help every night and needed to go in the kitchen to get it. This was the only B&B where I felt at home in the kitchen, and ended up talking for quite some time each night. They suggested two different restaurants, the Dunderry House and Kahn Spice, which were both great. They also gave great directions to the many celtic wonders in the area.

Room Tip: You need a car in the area. WiFi is a little iffy; you need to go downstairs to log in, then can br...

Anne and Marc make every guest welcome and comfortable, providing delicious full breakfasts and excellent advice about the many attractions of County Meath. The rooms are en suite and fully equipped, including an electric blanket if needed. The town of Trim and the surrounding area are full of historic sites and beautiful sights within easy drives from the B&B. On Monday and Wednesday nights the best pub in town provides outstanding traditional music and a well-pulled Guinness. But it was our hosts who made the stay so memorable. They treat everyone as an old friend and truly make this house a home for your stay. Then, they provide clear directions to the Dublin airport, avoiding the toll road. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Cranmoor was our last night in Ireland but one of the best. Anne greeted us warmly when we arrived, gave a choice of rooms (my wife doesn't climb stairs well), so we were able to stay on the ground floor instead of the first as Anne had planned. Even with a plumber's mistake that drained their heating oil tank, we had plenty of hot water that evening, a great breakfast in the morning and good directions to the airport afterwards. She also loves to talk, which led to us finding out more about and visiting several of the sights in the area before an early bedtime. Anne and Marc's sense of humor in facing an expensive mistake while ensuring their guests' comfort was impressive.

We stayed here at the end of a week in Ireland and it was a pleasure. Marc and Anne were gracious and welcoming hosts. Had a nice chat about fishing in the local area. Marc also serves as a fishing guide if that's your thing. We had the 'pink' room but it was nicely decorated along with the rest of the home. Very comfortable one night stay, great breakfast and convenient to Dublin airport. Only warning I would offer is that this is a working farm and if you are really averse to the smell of livestock, it might not be for you. Dinner choices are not abundant in the immediate area.

Crannmor is a superior B&B with tastefully decorated spacious rooms with a proper en-euites.

Anne & Marc go out of their way to ensure that all your needs are met for a comfortable and relaxing stay. They serve a delicious full Irish breakfast with the home made jams and preserves too good to resist!

The county of Meath and the town of Trim have many ancient and historical sites well worth the visit but if fishing is your passion, Marc can help you with that too.

An area not to be missed on your visit to Ireland and Crannmore is the perfect place to stay!

The Trim area is a must-see when you go to Ireland--the Medieval castle that was the setting for Braveheart and Newgrange, a neolithic burial site that predates the pyramids and that is sooo interesting. We stayed at Cranmoor House, and had a great experience--clean, lovely facilities, ample breakfast, and amiable and helpful hosts Ann and Marc O'Reagan. They really know how to treat their guests and are very helpful in answering questions about directions, places to eat, etc. There's a great restaurant about 4 miles from Cranmoor--Dunderry Lodge--that is not to be missed. Great food and great value that the O'Reagans told us about. Kathy R.

We were on a sister trip! What fun. Anne was wonderful and gave us such great information! The home is beautiful and welcoming. A highlight of the trip. You must eat at the lodge. As about it. We highly recommend Crannmor to all.
