This is an amazing hotel in Kiltimagh. We were flying in from America and requested an early check and were worried that we would be extremely tired having driven directly from Dublin Airport. The hotel had no hesitation to accept our request. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room came with a full Irish breakfast and it was great. Hot and delicious.
We had our dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent from a wide menu while the service was top notch. We like the ambience and the design of the restaurant.
All in all, it was a great experience. If you are in the area visiting Knock, or en route to the West Coast you must drop to this hotel and check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Hi stayed in this hotel, whilst visiting relatives. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the breakfast was amazing. It was cooked to order and there was a good variety of cereals, breads and scones. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed as a group, last week end and the place was very mixed up, Staff were friendly and pleasant, until you pointed out the flaws in the place. My room was on the 1st floor and was roasting which was a good complaint but any of our group on 2nd floor were frozen. The toilet was leaking water in 1 of our rooms and the smell of sewage in 1 other room was foul. I had a very similar experience on that same corridor 2 years ago so it is obvious reoccurring problem that they need to act on. Breakfast was so slow in the morning with nothing left at 10.45 and it well after 11 before any more food arrived out. breakfast was meant to be served until 11am. even then it was very limited. no beans, no scrambled eggs no croissants or any of the thing you now expect from a modern hotel. There was a wedding on in the hotel the same weekend so i would have thought they would be prepaired for guests to arrive at the latest possible moment.

Room Tip: request 1st floor if you dont want to freeze

Stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
Excellent large bedroom with a comfortable bed, everything clean and tidy. Lovely bathroom with separate shower and bath, one of the best we have seen in a long time.
The evening meal was well presented and delicious, the breakfast was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The town of Kiltimagh was under a five minute walk.

We recently had our wedding reception in the Park Hotel, I had a lot of family and friends who travelled from near and far and they were all so impressed with your hotel, the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff and especially the food. Please pass on our thanks to the chefs and all staff involved who helped make our day one to remember. If I could go through it all again I would without changing a single thing - and that's all down to The Park Hotel. The function room was so spectacular that I have to share a photo of it.
Last but not least I would especially like to thank you Claire. You have been so helpful over the last few months and really made things so easy. I always felt like I could contact you and you always replied swiftly.

It should go without saying that I have and will continue to sing your praises.
Thanks again for everything and I truly wish you, the staff and The Park Hotel all the best for the future.

Samantha & Thomas

Firstly, if you are looking for a hotel in the middle of lots of night life, The Park Hotel is probably not for you, but if you are looking for a really decent, friendly hotel just off the tourist destinations in County Mayo, The Park ticks all the right boxes. The town of Kiltimagh itself is a typical Irish town with a few shops and the ubiquitous pubs.
The hotel staff were excellent, our room was airy and clean, the bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was excellent - in the week, or when it is quiet, breakfasts are cooked to order but when it is busier, a buffet breakfast is served. We had evening meals in the restaurant, and could find absolutely nothing wrong with the food - which was tasty and well cooked. The hotel is handy for Knock airport and is about half an hour from Castlebar, with Westport being just a bit further. Definitely a recommended place to stay.
