I can't fault the setting but the view into the bank of microwaves was a bit of a giveaway of what we could expect. The food came far too quickly to be freshly cooked. Very disappointing in such a beautiful setting. The chips came out luke warm, virtually cold. Surely not too difficult to refresh them in a deep fat fryer rather than a too short blast in a microwave.
Everything else was fine. Service was good. The house wine was very drinkable. The food on Samos is never going to win Michelin stars, it's very repetitive and "samey" wherever you go. So this restaurant's offering was no worse than the rest of the restaurant's on this island.
