Elia is a good restaurant with a nice view of the port,we went with friends one night and had a nice time, the food is and was very good, but i can't rate it any higher than Good as the staff and service was bad, nothing like we'd encountered at any other restaurant in Pythagorion

Having walked the length of the Pythagorio harbourfront and having been talked to by seemingly every single Maitre d', my girlfriend and I eventually settled on this restaurant.

The service was initially very quick but seemed to slow down progressively throughout the evening. It also became absolutely packed by around 8pm so get there early or book if you want to guarantee a table.

The food was very nice but having visited a number of different restaurants in the less developed and less tourist-ridden parts of Samos, the lack of authenticity felt a bit strange and detracted from the overall experience.

I had a chicken salad with a colossal amount of parmesan and my girlfriend had chicken fillet with leeks and potatoes. These were both good meals but uninspiring to the point of mediocrity. However, they were very well presented.

Would recommend for the unadventurous.

Bread with olives and a dip was brought to the table prior to ordering so we decided to just order a main course each.
The bread was warm rolls and the accompaniment's delicious.
I had the stuffed pork in cheese sauce which was heavenly and the wife had a chicken in pastry dish which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Both dishes were large portions and we were pleased that we hadn't ordered starters. Half litre of house red and a bottle of water and a bill of 25 euros plus tip. We were brought a full portion size dessert on the house upon requesting the bill.

Gorgeous, gorgeous restaurant. By far the best food that me and my partner has had during this holiday. Relaxed and romantic. No pressure and genuinely nice friendly hosts.Would definitely recommend.
