The Enalion suites were only about a year old when we stayed, so everything was very new and modern. We were the first flight into Kefalonia in May which was the start of the season, so it was only half full, but we had a fantastic stay. The bungalows have a proper kitchen, cooker, fridge etc if you want to cater for yourself, and there is a supermarket just a 5-10 min walk, so it's ideal if you want to make your own lunch etc. The pool is just gorgeous with a fabulous view to the sea, and you can access the sea via steps down to the beach. The Lassi high street has lots of restaurants and bars, so there is a lot of varierty. We will definately go back, probably at the other end of the season i.e Sept as although the temperature is lovely in May, the sea is very cold! The beaches in Kefalonia are just beautiful - tourquoise water and white sand. Highly recommended for a holiday with your partner, or for the family.

My husband ,children and I stayed at the Enalion Suites last August and upon arrival we were very impressed. The apartments were lovely-very spacious. The pool area and gardens were very clean and well kept and the view from the pool over the sea was breathtaking. Unlike very busy apartments/hotels we never felt cramped around the pool, even on a busy day. This is due to the small amount of suites built. The food served at the Suites was of a very good standard but as soon as you walk into the resort the food was very average. If you are happy to eat chips every night then you will not have a problem but we were very disappointed. If you take a taxi into Agostoli there are a better choice of restaurants but we did not want to do this every night as the cost soon adds up and we chose Lassi because we knew we could walk into the resort to eat.
The staff at the Suites were lovely especially the lady in reception who was very helpful.
We did have a lovely break but unfortunately would not return because of the resort. Several other families/couples that we spoke to felt the same way. For this reason alone we would not recommend the Enalion Suites to friends and family.

We've just returned from a wonderful stay at Enalion Suites, Lassi, Kefalonia. After having read the reviews before we arrived, we were expecting a lovely place and it more than lived up to expectations. The suites were very well furnished, with a nice big bedroom, living area, bathroom and balcony. Fresh towels daily, although we didn't get the turn down service, people have suggested, mabye that was because we were there the last week of the season and out of 28 rooms only 9 were occupied. The staff are very friendly and speak great English. I was waiting to meet Effi, having heard so much about her on this website, she is lovely, so very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Caroline the Sovereign Rep is also very nice. The pool area is good, as I've said, we went at the end of season, so it was empty most of the time, no trouble getting a sunbed! We were looking at staying at the Mediterranean Hotel next door, we are so glad we paid the extra to stay at the Enalion Suites. The breakfasts every morning are good, lots of choice, although they serve the same every day with no variation. There is a computer in the lounge area with internet access for all to use, very handy for keeping up to date with your children on facebook back home and for looking up the weather forecast for the next day! The weather was a bit changeable, we had one full day of rain, but it changes so quickly, you can have torrential rain one minute and bright sunshine the next. The temperatures in September were perfect, around 22 degrees. We hired a car for 4 days, which you need to do to get around the island, we almost had the roads to ourselves, driving was a pleasure, albeit there are lots of hair-raising clifftop bends to negotiate, not sure what it would be like high season. Some places I would definitely recommend for you to visit are Fiskardo, plus a beach nearby Eblissi Beach, Myrtos Beach is stunning, Assos is a lovely fishing village, with a castle to visit, long walk up, it would have been nice to get taken up and walk down, but it was very hot that day and I was probably feeling lazy. When you visit Sami, go on to Antissamos Beach nearby, this was lovely, I would recommend you get some of those lightweight shoes to wear in the water, because the steep shingle beach is painful as you get in and out of the water. Melissani Caves and Ag Thomas Bay. Enalion Suites are very near to the resort of Lassi, but take a torch if you want to walk to Lassi in the evenings to eat, it's very dark along the road. We had a half board option for 4 of the nights so we ate in the hotel, the food was very good, but no atmosphere, unfortunately there was only ever one other couple eating at the same time, which seemed more than a little strange to us. We ate in Lassi a few times, we would recommend the Panorama Restaurant and the Trentis Bar. All in all a lovely holiday and I would thoroughly recommend Enalion Suites.

I must just say, I thought the staff selling food and drink at Kefalonia airport were appalling, both in the airport lounge and the departure area, they definitely need a lesson in customer service.

Since it's been open for only a year, it might be strange to say... "not as it used to be"....

But we were there exactly one year ago and the place has changed. Difficult to say how. I think the staff might have had more to do this year because they seemed very tired. Not so cheerful and helpful as last year.

E.g. I asked three days in a row for raspberry marmelade (there was only an orange bitter one) but ended up buying my own jar as they didn't add it on the breakfast table.

Another is that when I complained about the DVD not working I ended up the next day to take it to the reception to have something done about it.

There were some other small issues like this, that never would have happend last year. I know each and one is bareable, but considering the image they want to give, it's not up to standards anymore.

Still, it's a lovely hotel, and the poolrestaurant is so much better this year. So not all has become worse :-)

Enalion is a great place to stay!!!!

Highlights:
Breakfast is very varied and delicious
The pool area is tidy, clean and comfortable with a short stroll to the beach
The staff were very friendly and helpful- great English
The rooms were more than we expected- very tidy, very well looked after, beautiful layout, great views- we even got white robes which I wasn't expecting!
There is a computer in the reception area where you can get online anytime and this is not sharged in anyway way
Adequate parking if you hire a car
Good food at the bar even though the portions are a little over generous for people who are doing nothing all day but lie by the pool- order the linguine if you are REALLY hungry and tell me if you make a dent in it!
Location to Lassi centre and the beach is excellent

To sum up there are lots of nice touches, for example the pool furniture and table and chairs in the pool bar are all great quality- a simple thing but made all the difference

Things to look out for:
We couldn't get the hang of the safe- pay attention when this is demonstrated to you!
We got biten to kingdom come- possibly in the room, not sure if this is just a September thing?

I would wholeheartedly recommend this accomodation. We met people at the airport who had stayed down the road in the Mediteranne and they were so disappointed and envious of Enalion.

Thumbs up.
