The room we got was small and the beds were as hard as rock (seemed to be the theme of the trip). However it was clean. The bathroom was so tiny and there was no place to put the hand held shower while you were washing your hair, etc. It was very awkward.

It was a pain to lug the luggage down or up to your room if you were on the 1st or 2nd floors - flights of steps! So I was suggest asking for a room by the pool - more convenient. Our tour manager kept telling us about the bakery down the street and I wondered why he kept stressing to go there for breakfast (around 2 to 3 euros). I soon realized it when I saw the included breakfast at the hotel - it was terrible and the toaster didn't work. There was not much choice at all.

And the pool....it was a let down given the previous hotel we stayed at had a very large pool. This one looked like it would overflow if more than 4 people got in at the same time. It was very, very small.

The hotel was about a 20+ mins walk from town and during the morning...it seemed like an eternity in the heat! At night...everything looks the same and you can get lost easily as a bunch of us did the first night.

That said...Santorini is magical and everything it's cracked up to be. I would definitely go back but would not be staying at this hotel As I was on a tour it was okay for that, but I would definitely splurge when I go back for a second visit to this beautiful island!

Room Tip: Ask for one pool side - you avoid all the stairs that way since there is no elevator.

This hotel is a 20 min walk to main town of Fira. It's very bare-boned

This newly built hotel is situated in the traditional village of Karterados. Its about a 20 minutes walk or 3 minute cab ride from the capital town, Fira. Its location is quiet, away from the central roads. I enjoyed my stay here. It offered a quiet and comfortable stay. Beware of the marble steps, they can become a little slippery after a night out. Make sure you go to Lucky's Souvlakis for the most affordable and incredible gyros!!!

Hotel rooms were small but clean, and pleasent service. Hotel has a very boutique feel and was nice and quiet. Beds were hard and small but normal for Greece.

Santorini is amazing! Def one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen. The food is great, shopping is awesome, and the sunsets amazing! But this hotel sucks! The rooms in this hotel is similar to many in Greece; thin uncomfortable beds, one small tv with 2 english channels, and a tiny bathroom where you are not allowed to throw toilet paper into the toilet. The area surrounding the hotel kind of looks like a war zone and you would def not find this place unless you knew it existed. Def go to Lucky's in town for the best souvlaki and gyros in town. Their customer service is horrible though
